for level 8 i maxed out 25 lysosomes, got 8 defensins... spawned slicer enzymes when i was being attacked.... then divided my mitochondria so that i had a total of 3.... recycled all of my chloroplast... when i was 5000 atp i recycled two mitochondria (gives you +50 fa), then waited till i had 5000 atp, 2500 aa, 100 fa and spam clicked the production of toxins... every like 25% more virus show up... you don't need to defeat them so just release all 100 toxins at once otherwise you're in for an intense fight. good luck !
