BTW, the Eddington number is the theoretical number of protons or electrons in the universe - and we easily earn more dollars than that, about 16 sexvingtillion. Having fun with this! Had to migrate PCs and the fact that Import reads from the clipboard is not instantly obvious. I figured it out because export writes to the clipboard, but it would be better if it was explicit. Maybe the buttons should have subtitles Export (to clipboard) and Import (from clipboard)?

New release bugged for me - Vandust miners don't work if a laser is installed before them in the active modules, and that module is active. May affect other combos.

4) An option in the config to have the game warn you if you're undocking with low fuel or low hull. Forgetful players will thank you, alert ones will turn it off. Keep up the fantastic work!

3) A comparison filter on ship components that compares them to what you have currently installed. That way, it's easy to go through the market list and see which items on offer are upgrades. In the case where you have multiples of a type, compare to the best you currently own.

2) The economics of trade goods are a little too simple. Stations that produce a thing would want you to buy it lower and haul it away. Stations that don't produce a thing might want it and be willing to pay for it. That you can't sell goods except to a station that produces them seems like an unnatural limitation to me.

Okay, the game is tightening up, getting more interesting. Amazing progress so quickly, BTW! Here's what I'd like to see: 1) 3rd person POV combat is a little strange, particularly because the engines turn off when you get near a pirate. The easy fix IMHO would be to have the autopilot only park when targeting non-hostiles, while leaving the engines where you set them when targeting hostiles. Possible? Longer term, a 1st person POV for pirate zapping w/out autopilot would be awesome. It would probably be harder to do, though.

A nice start, very pretty, but kinda buggy as yet. 1) I came back from savegame and my missiles were no longer fireable. I suspect that this was an update glitch. 2) Yesterday the cargo hauling jobs were not working at all for me. I'll have to see if that's fixed. Glad to see that you're fast about fixing things!

Laynel, there's plenty of juice and more than enough DPS. You just need to figure out a better strategy to make your shots count.
