Very short and very easy on the second try of the game, once you know how much money to keep back for taxes and how much Jeff costs to make items in order to quickly accept or reject offers when you have 0 stock.
6/7 of my hits in the first dungeon with fists were 0. Only one was a 1. It is ridiculous how you can fight a room of 3 enemies to gain no reward. If you fight 2 or 3 enemies in a room, the 0 option should disappear from loot. This is what is making me stop playing this as soon as I send this comment. I do intend this as constructive criticism, but also just letting the dev know that this kind of thing stops me and probably a lot of others stop playing games almost immediately.
Really great game, the retro-looking graphics and old arcade machine sounds really make it. As mentioned, a button allowing the heroes to repeat the same training would be helpful, but I guess then it would be too easy to farm their power skill. Simple yet effective tutorial, as the game doesn't leave the player wondering what to do and sets you off on the right course.
The little man that repairs your walls, adds you an extra room and aids you in battles by collecting loot so you don't have to is called Resterance, and he wears the crown, blue cape and red shirt.
When holding shift/control/alt it would be useful for the amount of xp it's going to cost to upgrade to change accordingly too. So say I held shift for 5 levels, show the exp cost for 5 levels, not just one.
When the last enemy drops an item in a raid, the guy who is supposed to pick up the item doesn't, and just returns to base with the raiders. Please fix.
So I paid 20,000 gold for this prince-looking fool to pick up items that are dropped and he can't even do that? He just sits there with his pockets lined full of MY gold and gives me that shit-eating pixel grin? Does he even do anything?
Even when units don't do double damage, if you just completely upgrade one type of viking and send a whole identical family in, you've won every battle.
When entering a raid/farm, raiders tend to wait until the whole squad has entered the map until attacking, which is a very nice little feature and quite handy when you're trying to take down tough opponents.
It will be published soon! Final version is currently on BETA phase on kongregate (available for K+ users).
