The current situation is, "SPEND MONIES TO HAS FUN! :D" take this from a non buyer. You have no artifacts, a half decent to mediocore gun, needing to farm for awhile to get dat gun you want @.@ then getting smashed by someone that started a few minutes ago and is maxed ._. it's fun...I guess, if you're the one with alot of kreds. Again, yes it produces revenue for the devs, yes it lets them pay server costs, keep the game running. I understand. A free2play game needs premium content as this is the only way it can generate revenue for the devs. I understand that, but in the case of this game, where you have low levels that are on par with most level 60s, it becomes hard to actually play the game when all of your attempts to actually do good in a game are blocked by some random level 20 that's 17/17. Take my point from a non buyer point of view. Cause the balance between paying players and free players is out of wack on this game.
What squared is trying to say is... the game has too much buyers. I am aware of the fact that it in fact brings money to the developers, but it makes the game unplayable for those that do not buy. For example, a buyer could get Barrett+M20+PG+Thunder at only level 3, if they use arts. While most level 3s still have an uzi and a glock. The game doesn't rely on skill anymore, at this point whoever spends the most kreds will essentially "win" the game. I miss the "old" TDP. Where there were almost no buyers and thus the game was playable. Now every game has at least ONE unkillable level 20.
For anyone wondering why kixeye is taking the game down. When kixeye released maproom 3 on facebook, it was a buggy piece of crap. Players from facebook came to kongregate so they could play on MR2. Kixeye, instead of UPDATING the game, (cause, you know that requires work) decides to take off Bym entirely.
Rainy....you have no idea how stupid you sound. "HEY THEY'RE TAKING DOWN THIS GAME, LET'S QUIT FOR NO REASON!" if you're going to criticize kixeye for their poor decision, do it in a mature manner. As in, TRY to spell right, TRY to use proper grammar, and for the love of god...please don't write something as idiotic as that. People don't take you seriously when you send a poorly written rage comment that's barely spelled right.

At this point we have established something. Kixeye NEVER listens, not to it's loyal customers that form the spearhead of their revenue, not to the players that play their terrible Copy/paste games, not to anyone. They care about one thing and one thing only: Their money boat. If it's sinking, they'll milk it for all it's got and abandon ship.
Skak, that question has been brought up and will not be implemented. Anyone that has a ludicrous amount of resources, such as those in the leaders could simply gain free shiny by trading 1 mil resources when they have billions.
Honestly, this game's only fun when you're a buyer. Otherwise you're stuck with a mediocre weapon, against maxed out level 20s that are nearly unkillable and having to play/farm for hours at a time to get the money necessary for a good weapon. If you want my honest opinion for this game? it doesn't deserve the 4 star in my opinion. Buyers make the game unplayable without buying yourself, updates are few and far between and I'm not even going to start on the spam that goes on in room 1. Downvote this at your leisure, it's just my honest opinion of the game and you may or may not agree.
In responce to the people that have gotten OOPS something broke over upgrading their maproom, I will explain how you get OOPS by upgrading.
On world map, if a certain hex was occupied by a hacker, whether it be an outpost or main and the hacker leaves to another location, the hex is "infected" with OOPS. If you upgrade your maproom, you are assigned to a random hex on world map, if you land on an infected hex occupied by a hacker, you would get OOPS.
Tommy, anyone with a large empire can just spend billions on shiny and be drowning in the stuff. Also can't you spend it on shiny, buy resources for shiny, and repeat? I think I've read too much troll science...
John, the developers almost NEVER update kongregate, nor do they pay attention to the forums or comments. As for your idea, you could just make an alt and farm the alt for free shiny.
Gorgo is terrible, the damage is abysmal and any rocket dave+ zaf can kill it....
It's ok at lower levels but at higher levels the low damage makes it worthless.
