Del: At that stage of the game, I'm assuming that once you own a vanguard you have a crew that has full claymore/mythril, so you kill everything in two hits. The AI only starts fleeing after roughly...20 health out of 100, and the most damage I've done is 49. So that means I dispatch of the AI before they recognize that they need to flee.
A balancing feature should be the better your vessel, the easier it becomes for enemies to avoid it. Think about it, it should be extremely easy to avoid a landship on foot, as you have the speed and agility. But in game, it proves to be the exact opposite as I find myself getting nearly killed by a vanguard that almost always catches up with me. It would also remove the moments where I drop an enemy to under 10 HP but he always escapes from me.
TL;DR
The landship becomes something that kills enemies extremely fast, but it's easy to flee from in combat.
The current mechanic with the "If units get to this point, the battle is over and any enemies on screen surrender" can get quite amusing. I've had it where a single survivor from the squad makes it to the "finish line" while a tank is rolling on the map. And the tank surrendered.
"Sir, our trench is targeted for a gas attack, should we fall back to that empty trench behind us?" "That's not how WE operate 'round here, we charge at that trench full of machinegunnners!"
I think one idea that needs to be implemented into this game, is adding a cap on how many times you can attack someone before they're online. It gets awkward when you log on only to find that you've been attacked 5 times by a fail nub.
Short Guide: Longbow+Broadhead+Hardwood, The broadhead reduces the need to fire a second shot, as bleeding damage will take care of the enemy, with this loadout, 1 hit kills are quite common, with bleeding finishing off any enemy that refuses to die. Aim the cross hair at the front of an enemy's torso, then release. With horses, aim a little bit further, as the hardwood reduces speed. With this loadout, you will be a killing machine.
Sweet mother of god people. He won't change his damn mind about the current situation. Flaming him in poorly written comments that look like a 5 year old wrote them is NOT THE ANSWER. Post on KIXEYE forums, not here. He doesn't give a damn about us, I think we should know that by now. Yes this a bad decision and yes kixeye can be incompetent, we know.
So.... after doing alot of adding, I figured out that a full artifact set (no weapons, no nothing) is 1399 cash. AKA, FAR more than you will get without buying. Javelin pretty much set up the game so it would be dominated by buyers, at least on kong. There's no cash tourneys, and the process by getting cash is impossible, to say the least. So now, I must ask every buyer one thing. Why? a full arts set is 60$ for the arts alone, which is more than enough for the latest retail title. Instead of buying a shiny new retail game (CoD,BF,Far Cry, etc.) you choose to spend it on a 2D flash shooter. Which by the way is overrun with buyers, never gets updates, and requires everyone BUT the ones with kreds to farm for hours at a time to get a good gun. Also, the spam in room 1.. What I'm trying to poke at is, the game's not worth it. Spending enough money for a full retail title with better production values on a flash game is ludicrous.
