Great game. The only problem I had with it is that the powerups give someone too much of an advantage. During one race, I was winning by a huge margin and was on the last lap. I then got hit by a bomb, spiraled and ended up facing backwards while being hit by a bunch of cars. It made me lose the race.
You may not like the content of the game, but please show some respect for it. It is a coding genius. They did a lot of great coding so if your a developer you should at least respect that.
It is not stolen. Play past 10 points and you'll begin to see that. Play past 20 and even more. Play past 30 for even more. Play past 40 (if you can) to see EVEN MORE
Laxaria: I didn't want to add levels because I wanted the game more never-ending.
Another thing, IT WAS MY FIRST GAME!!! What did you expect? The next Fancy Pants?
How much of the game have you even played? 10 points? If you keep on playing you get to see more and more stuff that I added in. I worked hard on this game and I am proud of it! If you and Scion want to come here and push down someone whose new at making games then be my guest. Go ahead and be a bully.
haydendem:
1. It's an action game, meant for endless play.
2. Practice mode is to get you used tot he controls and tell you some stuff
I need a name shorter than "Pointless game of collecting the little yellow orbs"
stealthsilent/ScionofLight:
I did not just use his source file for the practice mode. And the tutorial doesn't teach you how to change friction according to score nor does it tell you how to make certain blocks appear after x amount of points.
I barely looked at the other stuff (the environment stuff). I just looked at the tutorial for the movement and collision with walls. I made all the other stuff.
If you don't believe me then please don't comment anymore. As I can clearly see, I'm not changing my opinion and neither or you, so we should both just stop. Please do not comment anymore. You can go on thinking that I'm a stealing-newb, but I know the truth.
I just want to thank all of you that have posted helpful stuff. Even if it was constructive criticism. Thank you for being civilized and mature instead of randomly yelling things without doing research.
ScionofLight: I did not steal this game! Nor did I just download the source files. I made the character after the character he used. If you didn't notice, mine is somewhat different. I also added in a lot of code. In the tutorial, new obstacles did not appear every 10 points, nor was there a menu, nor a practice room, nor increasing difficultly. Do some research before posting.
That last comment of mine was directed towards MasterChief just to tell you all.
I got the basis of it from a tutorial (look at the credits) and added on the objects, increasing difficulty, highest score, practice room, credits, and a menu
Wow, didn't you read the description? It's my first game. Unless you've made some games, which I can see from your profile that you haven't, you shouldn't be saying anything.
