You can orient your soldiers whenplacing them, press the red arrows on the ground. Are the one hit spells for the elf general supposed to have unlimited range? And for the sequel, a magic user unit (besides the elf general) that could be upgraded to heal or damage would really help.
Also, the archers' range should be limited in rough terrain and forests, because when you have to be in the enemies face to do a ranged attack, that kind of makes ranged units useless...
You should take out the random turns. It would be easier if you went, your opponent went, etc... Right now, It's completely pointless to upgrade your initiative because even if you get two turns in a row, that means your opponent gets two turns in a row.
Easy is way too difficult. You should consider making enemy bosses have less heath or make them extremely vunerable to criticals. Also, this latest patch is good, but could you make the new "failed attacks"(1 damage hits) actually be the unit's minimum damage? And also, adding a priest or healer character would help this game alot, or at least a hp regeneration when the unit skips a turn. That is absolutley necsessary, because even if you lose one unit, your chances of winning the next battle are drastically decreased. You often have to redo battles over and over to get though them with no losses.
Some of the secondary objectives are a little too hard because they interfere with your main objective(ie:enemy undead general blocking the path to your objective; heavily defended castle right next to the town you need to capture; large amounts of fortified optional enemies surrounding your main objective or blocking a path; etc..) You should make the secondary quests a little easier. I also hate the random counter crits that one-hit my general or an expensive/high level unit. And its very time consuming to have to go back and re-upgrade all your men. Other than that 5/5
I didn't think niagra was that hard, just toss nades and shoot them when they're at the desired spot. The plane bombs are too easy in my opinion, you just have to keep moving to get away from them. And if you can't beat the ottawa level, then you just suck at platformers.
the new cam net can be very useful. if you put masses of your men under it, it discourages the enemy from using arty. I put a trench or two under it for good measure
Jesus Christ, I'm sick of this "state your ideas for badges" crap. If the game is popular (and compatible for api) then it will get badges! they probably don't need your "suggestions"
