If you're having trouble with the guessing the correct number this was my strategy. Keep guessing in the middle thousand. For example, say the number is 2103. First choice is picking 50k. It will tell you it's too high, so you'll know it needs to be below 50k. Pick 25k. Too high. Pick 12k. Too high. Pick 6k. Too high. 3k. Too high. 1500. Too low. 2k. Too low. 2500. Too high. You've narrowed it down to a number between 2001 and 2499. Go to your middle hundred, roughly 2200. Too high. Go to the next lower. 2100. Too low. You've now narrowed it down between two hundreds, so start guessing in tens, starting from each side's extremity (interchanging lowest, highest and vice-versa) until you've narrowed it down to ten numbers. Then start guessing single digits. Congratulations, you are an intelligent human being.
