Addicting :) I took me a week to finish and it was mostly fun (except bad RNG moments)
Gauntlet tips:
have two 'nuke' pawns (both splashes) and maybe one other figure (knight?) to efficiently clear blight spawns. Then around 6 shield and 6 cantrips.
upgrade rooks and bishops with splashes different than their movement patters.
consider killing BlightMatrons quickly as they pollute the board when moving.
needed for gauntlet 6/7: think through all moves, save spots, remaining cards each round before single move.
As for the game: it's great in current scope (as free game for 20 min.) but I am concerned how 'rogue-like' it will be in a full version. Mostly because this demo feels complete in feature-scope, ie: ease to grasp, positively minimal upgrades. Adding more could spread nice idea thin and unappealing. And this demo is hardly rogue-lite (set enemy patterns, same upgrades each run). But I am looking forward to full release and wish the dev the best of luck.
