is this an entry in the contest or something? As a game, it doesn't stand on its own, unless its design is explainable as part of the Stride competition.
I like the concept, but it needs a few fixes. Why have an undo button if it does not work properly? Why is the AI so pathetic? Multiplayer would be a good idea for a game like this.
This game had such an interesting concept, but not as interesting an execution. Why bother adding in wall jumping when its almost pointless to use it? Why is my stick guy dying when I am nowhere near a falling block? Why are there programming errors like weird function calls when I die? 2/5 for now, but fix it up and I will change my score.
Just burned hours playing this. Then again, I am addicted to Kudos, which is like this game, so no surprise.
So how do the tiers work? higher tier = better ending?
My only criticism is that this game BADLY needs a mute button. The music isn't bad, but it is repetitive.
Excellent game, but needs balancing 3/5. For the first two levels I was just grinding gold till I got the weapon upgrade charms, then I coasted till level 6, and then it got really hard again and I had to grind levels.
At the people that say its "like frantic", you do realize that frantic is "like" every other insanely hard 'bullet hell' shooter that has been around since the 80's right?
This game would be a five if not for two things: glass windows, and said windows at levels lower than the current platform(what do i do? fall at it?). Still gets my 4! TechnoIvan is right, a warning b4 windows would help tons.
awesomenes... after playing Bible Fight or whatever was the last Adult Swim game here, I had given up on any semblance of quality, but this redeems it . Kudos goes to the excellent controls, noir storyline, and fluid animations. 5/5 in my book
I agree with the other comments. Through all seven areas I never built more than three machine gun turrets, and I simply camped the enemy entry point to finish off each wave as fast as possible. A little more variety in enemies would not have hurt either. Just an endless line of red soldier, blue soldier, green soldier, yellow soldier, etc.
