Don't tell people not to judge your game, if you don't want a game judged don't bother sharing it.
Unfortunately this game is unplayable, boxes in spawn inside of the red squares (you could do a check, perhaps using the max size of a box and it's center, to make sure no green boxes spawn inside a red box)
it's an attempt, but it's a little lazy tbh, keep working on it and apply yourself fuller next time my friend. Good luck!
Alright, disregard the comment I first wrote, this game is incredibly clever and elaborate; I knew the red letters would play in somehow but didn't think to mark them down. I applaud you, really enjoyed the game!
Whoo, thanks for the comment :D
And even more so, thanks for giving the game a chance! I applaud you for probably being the first one to beat the game on Kongregate, without any real help at all. The first level is probably much more difficult, as I think this concept takes some getting used to.
Thanks a lot for playing and commenting; I really appreciate it!
@Lochrin This game didn't do anything wrong, just because it cloned another games doesn't mean you can say you did something (that you pretty obviously didn't do). So, your claim is: FALSE. Your self claimed justice is unjustifiable, good day.
One more thing, do the levels end? If not, how do you keep them synced, and if so, how big are they? I've always been interested in this genre and too lazy to actually go and develop a clone myself, and I want to know your solution to level generation, as smooth curvature for 2d terrain seems a bit difficult to write.
Game is poorly optimized, and a bit slow compared to what it cloned. I'm running a HD 7770 and a 6-core 3.6ghz processor, and getting about 20 fps, on a new load of Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit of course). Other than that a great clone of a game that before wasn't on PC.
Umm,you could easily fix the bullet problem by adding a variable (if you don't already have one) to the tank's horizontal movement, and add it to the bullet's speed ( for example tankH+bulleth=bulletH) I could in GCC,so sorry if it takes a little editting to fit into your game, but it's a quick little patch that should help a lot.
Please don't drop this project. It's simply left me in awe when I started playing it.The unique-ness of this game is just..WOW!I truly think you should keep working on this. You could easily make it a winner of 'Game of the Month' and win 1000 bucks.I don't really know what to say to make you continue working on this. But please...I'll give you a hug :3.Lol,but seriously,UPDATE IT SOON!
