Errr.. Seems impossible to complete the game as the flying type. I've maxed all stats, and I still consequently finish 2nd at the climbing the cliff part of the Professional Finals. >_>
Eeeh, how this game got badges at all is completely beyond me. The songs are terrible, the audio-quality even worse, and most importantly, trying to play timing the keys with the music will cause you to miss. The audio is hilariously off-beat with the video. >_>
I really miss a mulligan function. Sitting on a starting hand with either no Pillars, or nothing but pillars is a sad start of a very likely to be loosing game. :(
Interesting enough, but it grows stale quickly. There's no real character progression at all, the numbers just grow bigger. You get all the abilities already in the first dungeon, and after that it's all the same over and over again. No new enemies, no new abilities, just the same stuff on repeat with bigger healthpools. And what on earth is up with abilities growing weaker as you upgrade them? Sure, they hit harder, but the constant increase to the cooldown on them doesn't belong anywhere. I find myself not upgrading my Ice Nova and Ice Ray simply because I don't need them for the damage they do, I need them for the slow and knockback.
The resurrection spell is far too powerful. For the price of one unit, you can resurrect a whole group of soldiers to your side, both of your own dead, and the enemies dead - and it ignores the unitcap to boot. Spamming it makes almost every battle far too easy. xD
Seems you can get stuck in walls here and there. Jumping into hanging walls from below them sometimes gets you stuck inside. Can usually jump to get out again, but not always it seems. :(
Is the impossible difficulty literally impossible? It takes one single enemy caveman to annihilate 6 of mine, and one Dragon Rider is only just barely enough to beat ONE caveman. -_^
The sheer power they have seem to be absolutely unbeatable, and I never earn money enough to train the units required to survive beyond the first minute of combat, no matter how I try.
I might remember the riddle wrong; but the answer to the first riddle is nine because there's first the six sisters, and the two parents. The sisters have one brother each, but they are sisters, so they all have the same brother, which kicks the entire family up to nine members. Six girls, one boy, and the parents.
I miss an autosave function. :(
The gameplay is nice, but it's definately far too easy. Ranger's stun rune renders even bosses inconsequential, you'll find potions absolutely everywhere, more gold than there's things to spend it on, hiring allies if you want (I never needed too), and even if you DO die, there's no penalty for it at all, you can just run back to where you were and proceed hacking and slashing.
Lots of potential, but it still leaves me with a sense of lacking. :<
Unique! Would definately love to see this get more fleshed out in an eventual sequel!
Really loved the little detail in his facial expression while jumping on the third level. :D
Well, it's just the demo, so I can see that as a reason why some would rank it lower, but tbh, this is one of the fivest fives I've ever given to a game on Kong :P
