That game was adorable, if a bit easy.
To make it a bit harder, could you try using other nets, perhaps those of other platonic solids or just other shapes in general. That would break a few of the "rules" that I discovered on the second level that made 7 of them really easy.
Protagoras: "Whatever an individual believes is right, is right for that individual"
I wanted to be able to say "Your face is ugly! Therefore you are wrong!"
But it didn't let me. :(
Adding to LittleHat's response, I think that you play as a memory, and as her world grows more color, she becomes happier, and eventually, no longer needing to dwell upon death, she forgets, and moves on. Whether good or bad, I dunno.
That was nice, it sated my unquenchable thirst for shooters for a while, but then I beat it, and now what do I do?
Any reccomendations of good games like this?
Good concept, decent implementation -- most of the time. Multitask is the one that is most flawed, not on a basic level, but I think that a keyboard control for the addition, so that you can hit the Numpad while using the mouse for the other. This would make it slightly easier, so that you don't have to try to hit the number (I've had to click several times before the thing accepts my clicking, and of course I miss the other one.) Also, the flash when you get something wrong is really, really irritating, it disorients you, especially on the memory test, as soon as the flash is gone and you regain your focus, there's already three dots on the screen that you can stare drunkenly at.
Well, beyond that, everything else, as far as I can tell is pretty good, I've spent enough time in this to prove that. (three hours, maybe? I love slowly working my way up, grinding.)
Bleh, why do all shooter games turn into TDs after a while? Why couldn't be like Blizzard where they mastered their genre by doing game after game (Warcraft1, Warcraft2, Expand, Expand, Diablo, Starcraft, Expand, Diablo 2, Expand, Warcraft 3, Expand, World of Warcraft, Expand, Expand, Expand, Starcraft 2.) Sure they have some other genres, but not till they've gotten good enough to own all their competition on the RTS front. Get really, really good at making nice, pretty, interesting, shooter games with over-the-top upgrades and still manage to hang on to balance without being frustrating. THEN do your little Tower Defence games.
"Rocket science is like sex; it may give some practical results, but that's not why we do it." Awesome! 5/5 just for that, and a 5/5 for the rest of the game.
Awesome! This game is the most basic of the basic, run around, shoot things, shoot more things till you get to the arrow sign! buy guns! Repeat! I love it! (Plus, the badass music playing at 40,000 Db didn't hurt either)
eww, too easy, VERY crappy graphics and audio, gets boring after 15 seconds, all in all, the worst game I have ever played. Worse than the broken ones rated very last on Kong.
quite fun, but very easy, the lines gave it away still a good game though. it could be made significantly harder by placeing the next level button in the middle and revealing the lines once you finished the level.
I got a(n) Z... on medium! My score was 0 with a max combo of 0. I scored 0 perfects, 0 greats, and 0 goods. I got only 0 bads and 355 misses! I was playing on 5 speed and had 0 crazy options on. Great game, I like it! Play it here: http://www.thorgaming.com/games/3926/feel-the-beat.html
wait, you're saving people? what kind of pandemic game is this! it's the morbid entertainment of killing everyone that made it so good, now you're removing the greatest aspect of the game and turning it into nothing.
