Finished it. Kept my interest to the end.
Pros --
Upgrade system felt fun. Not too grindy.
Bosses were interesting, and well designed. Each had a trick to figure out to beat them. That was fun.
Getting 10 weapon power-ups in a row and then a double coin bonus is pretty much better than anything on Pornhub.
Cons --
Enemies a bit boring. Mostly rocks and a few aliens. Pew. Pew.
Short. But.. I'm guessing dev is still learning.
Over-all, having played a ton of these top down shooter upgrade games, this isn't the best out there, but it was fun enough to hold my attention til the end. 4/5

For this developer, (which I love), I must agree with everybody here this was much more of a step backwards than a step forwards. The graphics are pretty yes, but the game play is, as so many other put it.. not exciting.
I don't mind these scrolling clickers but to just grind with no strategy involved can just feel time consuming and then players move on to the next game. Maybe involve more strategy elements in these games.
I've said this to other devs but gamers will sacrifice some graphic polish any day for good and engaging game play.
Thank you for your games.
Also on the plus... I personally liked that there is a mouse play option (default even). I will try to push through the lag and play a bit to see if I can offer any useful input
Very excited about this game love rogue-likes. First impression is great graphics but a little laggy. I understand you are trying to cram a lot in a little game. If the game is in beta, I would volunteer that most of us would most likely be willing to sacrifice a bit graphically for a smoother game-play experience. You mentioned in an earlier comment about how certain things would slow the game down even more. At the end of the day, unfortunately, if it is too laggy, most people just won't bother playing at all. So that would be my focus is getting the game running smoother. Then work out the bugs when more people play.
You are definitely right! I personally hate laggy games myself. It's something I've been struggling with throughout development. I have plans on how to improve it (it's more than just the oversized assets), but it's not easy for me as I'm a self-taught programmer. I really appreciate this, though. It does motivate me to keep it up! Thanks!
This was a decent dungeon crawl. A bit simple but kept me fighting til I beat it. The fireworks were a nice touch. Always good to get a reward for beating the game.
The game looks fun but is a bit laggy on my computer. Is there a way to increase frame rate? Also being able to disable the music would be nice. I really appreciate the classic music nod, but it can get a bit annoying during game play.
This game... it's like Tron, but without the other car. But hey, I played for 5 minutes, got 112 high score, and enjoyed my wtf is this game moment.
So 3 stars for that. I'm pretty sure there could be a Snake TWO! "The Snakening" You know, add three blue obstacle lines. You've got a whole new game!
I haven't commented in awhile but just wanted to say this game is a gem. Nice job devs I have put hours and hours into this game. Lots of replay value, challenging but fun,5 stars easily. One of the best games I have found on Kong. Nice work!
All of this complaining for a free game....Pinata ads, I didn't mind, devs have to make a buck somehow. The pinatas continue to increase in value and content as the game progresses keeping the balance nice. In regard to all this complaining about "the grind", if anything, I found the game to be a bit short. I just feel like there are far too many entitled gamers here whining about a game that is actually really really fun. No I don't work for the company, I'm one of you guys, I just thought this was a great game. At least on my phone. Runs slow on my PC. Anyways, if watching a 30 second ad to get a cool bonus is your biggest complaint about this game, please stop. It's not a money pit, (I beat it fairly easily spending no money), has GREAT graphics, and I felt the progression is nice and balanced. I get some of you want instant gratification and all the things, but sometimes in games, you have to work to earn stuff. Or watch a quick ad to support your developer. Great game. 5/5
I enjoy games of this type however no progress bar, no damage/hp stats, I'm just going to say this was a lazy effort especially considering the graphics were decent.
