The lag is an issue. But as long as you refresh the page every 10 minutes, it doesn't get too bad. It gradually gets worse the longer you play the game without refreshing.
So many variations, this is the game I've been waiting for since my Nokia 3210. Also, if you're like me and really struggled on Coral Snake, if you're using Windows 8, if you go to settings, Display, Orientation, you can turn your screen to Landscape (Flipped) and play it normally.
Glad you like it! The game we were making before this was actually a real time Worms style game called Poo Monkeys. It never saw release but it was a blast making it.
I think you've gone the right way with the music, but you could take a page out of Coolio_Niato's book and make everything adapt to the music as you play, make things pulsate to a beat, it makes things more adrenaline fused and fun. Or maybe look how Geometry Wars keeps you playing through particle effects and epicness. Just feels like this game could be one that really gets you going!
Really fun game, deserves some recognition, though putting the play button at the start to be a link to your website is quite cheap, but quite clever... Needs highscores!
I believe that I am a dying breed, ye who play games for fun. A game in which an Auto-Clicker can get a higher score than me because an Auto-clicker doesn't have to restrain itself from falling asleep.
I accept that some games have elements of repetition, often this can be the charm of the game. However I expect the ratio of Skill to Repetition to be 1/1 at a bare minimum. This game presents itself with no influence on how good the player is, the only chance you get is deciding where to invest your money, and a simple replay of one level will remove this option through a theory of Grinding. Greg, you are a funny man.
The first half of the game is just invest everything you have into Oxygen and Fuel before you even think of upgrading anything else. I'm so desperate to move left and right, why have you deprived me of it!?
It should definitely be called Space Bash. I don't mind the whole, having to rapidly press space but you need to offer a mouse alternative I think, it would be nice to have the option for both. Not bad though, nice variety of enemies.
Really good game, fun for it's very short entirety. Though I was a bit disappointed that I figured out the last level straight away, I think you could have gone much further in difficulty.
I forgot about this game, so classic. Although on Kongregate I keep flinging them up and my cursor scrolling over the 'Games' tab and the drop down menu screws me over.
