Game mechanics aren't to bad. Graphics and music are nice to. Would be a decent game, even with losing your equipment, but every step..loads..so..effin..slooow..(and it's def not my connection speed)
Also, the game-window is to big even if you fullscreen the browser. So an ingame fullscreen option would be good.
Regarding the slow loading speed:
- What exactly are you seeing/doing when you are forced to wait?
- Does it happen consistently, or just sometimes?
- What machine/device are you using?
- When you are experiencing problems, could you do an Internet speed test and tell us what your connection speed is?

what do the arrow keys do? tried all kind of combinations with minimal "verschlimmbesserungen"...better results.
I like this games' take on the launch concept, but the interaction needs work!
I just found a cheat/bug for the energie stat:
Instead of buying the food, just drag your duck to the far left in the grassland-area and place your cursor left of it (outside the game-window). For me, limiteless food appeard and the stat got up to 150 in notime. Upvote if this works for you to!
I tried to change the narrative by taking pictures of the "first angry square/turned lover", to maybe turning other "angry shapes" into "lovers". But to no avail. That's a rather depressing, but quite accurate comparison to our current news cycle/news media reception.
I wish there was a companion game or different play path, that highlighted what could be possible, if the media attention caught more positive "stories" and the whole picture. How would the shapes react differently?
I can see this game as a tool for education in highschools; to create a discussion about the influence of news and the biased view of news editing.
