Here's an idea, how about you beta test it? Like at release you let some people play it, fix the bugs and then release it? Also, most games that update often like this fail in days, post an occasional update and keep them large, maybe? If you've got a huge update, more beta testing! Don't use friends as all the beta testers, they might not tell you the problems for fear of hurting your feelings. Just some friendly tips in case you didn't do this already.
Somewhere in the checklist for assigning attributes, such as flame resist and alive, there should be something to make an object act as a brain, also simple goals for living things to achieve, such as telling a rag doll "Hey, kill that rag doll!" Just a few ideas that could add a lot of new interesting levels, roll-playing things, and contracts. Just imagine "Kill the bread loaf before it triggers the Fat Man." Tell me what you think!
