Definitely needs a world map AND a minimap overlay that points out merchants and locations of interest.
I don't mind holding the left click down at all.
Might need an item that scares off monsters, sort of a desperate measure if a party gets low on health and needs to get to an items salesman fast, or just doesn't want to be bothered that much on a long hike across the map.
Why not just tell people that you'll lose if you make combos of just 3 blocks - you have to create larger combos to actually do enough damage? I lost on level 2, not 1.
There are no new concepts here. It is a crippled version of Tetris with more awkward controls and gameplay.

Good. 3/5 There isn't enough to it, though. I played through on normal difficulty without maxing all building/unit options and feel no great need to play again. Building times are slow. There is very little need to think if one has played any RTS successfully before. Might be a good intro to the RTS genre for eight or nine year olds.
Pretty impressive for a first effort! 4/5 In-game achievements would add a little something, although I haven't managed to upgrade as far as Version 5 yet, much less 9. A little boring and repetitive, but then such is the nature of most shooters, IMHO.
Exploitative of women. Boring. Closer to a puzzle game than a sports game, which I don't mind. I actually like the controls. The graphics are disappointing, though - more effort has gone into flashing semi-dressed females than into making the game itself look good. 1/5
Rocket launcher rules, but that is in part because of the control scheme/movement. Zero plot, reptitive, but would recieve a 3/5 from me IF there was 8 direction movement and firing.
4/5 Aspects I don't like: Mixing turned based strategy main game with crucial shooter/arcade mini game. Not everyone is physically capable of doing shooter/arcade genre games and to mix the two genres makes it difficult to impossible for some folks to finish. No ability to save between fights - the game will offer to save only after a significant time investment.
New to this site, but not new. Great TD, but needs an upgrade chart handy, linked, included somewhere - other than the name (NOT a link) to the dev's site, which may or may not be up...
2/5 because it works, doesn't freeze, and has refferences to the Zelda series.
It isn't fun. It is almost but not quite funny. The balance is off, making it futile to play.
