@crazybob: Galaxies don't give a 1% tick speed boost. They give a 1% additional decrease for every tick speed upgrade you buy. At first it is indeed a minor effect, but after having bought it 200 times it amounts to a total 10x speed multiplier already.
@mara: PrivateAccounts are not necessarily a bot. By clicking the eye above your avatar, you can make your account private as well. If you can't report your opponent, then it is a bot. (Note that still most of the privateaccounts are indeed bots)
It's a lovely game... but it's a mystery to my why there's a "game over". I can understand that you are better if you solve it in less time, but I just want to play this game relaxed, in my own pace. I'm fine with having 0 points in the end because I ran out of time, I play this game because I just like solving the puzzles. If you would at least add a game mode where you can play with unlimited time, that would be fine with me.
Very nice game. Just a few small complaints: Sometimes I jumped when I thought I touched a light, but apparently I was *just* above it, which was a bit annoying sometimes. Also, when dieing/restarting, the moving lights were reset, but the rotating spikes/razors were not, which can be quite annoying (23, I'm looking at you). Other than that, great game, story was fun (especially as a programmer).
"It's time to change your clothes!" No it's not, these are the best for this level. "It's time to train my fighters!" No it's not, I don't have enough fish to even level up 1 stat on any of my cats.
For those complaining and those new to the game: Don't try to accomplish both extra objectives in one go. There are quite some levels where you can do them together, but there are also levels in which both objectives require a completely different solution, which in my opinion only adds to the fun as you can't just do one solution and be done. + so others can see.
I want to like this game, but there are three things holding me back. First of all, controls. They're way too slippery to get used to. Second, the AI acquiring certain weapons such as the stun gun or the net result in your instant death sometimes. And lastly, the AI ability to react to a missile fired at point blank range by shielding.
"Sir, the enemy has guns and mortars everywhere along the main street, but the alleys between the houses are completely free! Should we go through those?" "No! Stick to the original plan, move along the main street, that way you might be able to temporarily take out some of those guns and mortars!"
I'm not quite sure what I'd prefer as a hitchhiker. Get in the car with someone so wanted that the police are willing to kill people and deploy mines, or stay on the road as a target for those policemen.
hehe cool, you're a programmer too. I will restart the moving and rotating obstacles also
