I just noticed this is version 1.08 on Kongregate, but version 1.22 on Armorgames! Besides the obvious "Armor Games" logo in the opening, and the advert for Rebuild: Gangs of Deadville, there's a number of differences I've noticed between the two. For one, I noticed Trader Gustav will now SELL you things (So if you're used to him asking to buy crap, don't click yes automatically, like I do, lol). Also, when you defeat the Last Judgement gang during a raid on your territory, you have a change of taking their weapons... plus, the Impossible difficulty really is almost impossible, lol. Mrs. Northway, please update this one on Kongregate, too!
After a few minutes of selling potions and growing flowers, i soon had over 50k. I was able to buy all the high-end upgrades in one go. Now I realize I no longer have to click the flower pots to water them, meaning all I have to do now is get near-instant flowers and make potions. That cuts the challenge a lot.
It's a nice game, but needs more detail. :)
I just realized that 1. it's Valentine's Day season and 2. my closer at the end of the day is walking home without their 2 cupcakes. Which means they ate both of them in my store and did not share them with a Valentine... which leads me to either 3. the closers just ate their feelings or 4. my custom worker is their Valentine. Sorry, Xolo, but, haha no. You probably just came from Papa's Wingeria and smell like spicy garlic wings.
As much as I love Freezeria, Pancakeria, and Pasteria, I think Cupcakeria is one of my least favorites, and it's even a newer one. :( I was trying to figure out why I didn't care for this one, when I realized... I don't like cupcakes, lol (Ugh... just the idea of biting into that big hunk of nasty frosting...). Besides... cupcakes in a cupcake bakery aren't really made to order. You order what they have on display.... which brings me to... we should've had the ability to make a few cupcakes of our own design to display before customers arrived for the day. Sure, some customers could order whatever they wanted, but there was a chance they'd like what you had in the display, too.
I love Pastaria. I think it's the best since Freezeria and Pancakeria. I LOVE the bonuses for getting dressed and decorating my shop based on the holidays. It actually makes it a little more interesting. :) I think a cool feature would be to build relationships with your customers beyond serving them. Such as when they're waiting in line, to click on a bubble that appears above their heads to "chat" with them (a very quick thing). It would up their waiting score and the more stars you had with them the better it would work. You wouldn't have to do this, and could ignore it if you wanted to, but it could be treated as a bonus thing just in case you made a mistake somewhere and needed to flesh out your waiting score with them.... I also just love the customers and all their personalities. :) If Flipline Studios made a game with all the customers that was like The Sims.... that would be freaking amazing. XDDDD
Well, I've gotten all the maps on campaign, heroic, and iron. I've gotten the premium content, too. What I need now is a "freeplay" challenge mode with near-endless waves for each map.
This game is very addictive! It's kind of like a SimCity with zombies. I'd like it if the characters weren't so randomized, though, as many are terribly ugly... although by the end of the game you never look at their avatars and instead are focused on their skills; I'd like it if my people paired up and actually started "repopulating" the city healthily (and not with prostitute baby-making harems, although the option could be available). I also think it'd be great if there was a "part 2" to Rebuild, where, after your city is reclaimed, you then have to organize the city and deal with rebuilding civilization.
Despite the simplicity, I think it has potential :) Some suggestions that could have made it better: 1. Objectives to reach goals; 2. Better commands when building, for example, hot keys to access build mode and to then rotate objects using the space bar or some other key, and also a hot key to gather all resources or distribute supplies; 3. The map is a diamond shape and not a rectangle... it would match the way the roads and rivers are laid out better; 4. Connect the outside world using roads and rivers, and make tourism a needed thing. 5. I like the rivers but there's no reason to add them. Should make it so that the buildings require rivers, wells, or water towers in the town for water. Hope I was helpful. Good luck on the next project!
I really like simulations like this and Farm Fun is no exception. However, I found it way too easy. Once the gargoyle charges it's practically game over. :) No offense, but I would get rid of it from the game, or make the spawn a one-time only thing. ^_^ And also keep the flamingo's spawn time low.
i have to keep restarting because of all the bugs. offices disappear after being placed, as does decor. once i tried to restart by reloading a save and the objectives stopped working. i like the game though it seems fun. just wish i could get over the bugs :(
