There isn't a missing mute. You can mute the sound effects and music independantly. We give you an EXTRA FEATURE, and you mark us down because you're too stupid to use it. Nice one.
And people who think that a PAUSE button is a smiley, and then give us 1/5 because they think there is no MUTE button, even though there is.
They're too stupid to play games!
lyankyj, I'm sure you'd like to see 20 tracks, so would we, but how much would you pay for that? Don't forget you're getting this for FREE! How you can complain about not having enough tracks is beyond my reasoning!
well look at this page - one person says it's too easy, and another says it's too hard. This is why it's difficult making games!
Mute Button is on the pause menu (as it says in the instructions on this page)
wallabee,
Thanks for your comments.
I understand where you're coming from, but strange as it may seem, with this game the focus isn't on winning races, but instead its about getting a high score. Yeah, you need to win races to unlock events, but getting a high score is where the design was really focused.
I know it's an unusual approach, but hey, why not :-)
We might do a straight out and out racer game though - that would be great.
GameReclaim, thanks for the ideas!
We've got a few ideas for sequels - we'll have to wait to see what most people like about this before choosing a direction.
You do know that you can get sort of hit-object combos in this, right? If you're going for a high score you'll have to do just that - hit a long line of objects whilst skidding - the points go up for each one you hit!
Engine sound is particularly difficult in Flash, as you can't alter sound playing back in real time, so we thought it best to stick with music.
Oh, and you should see this engine working with 40 cars at once! :-)
Cheers.
You're right, BlightedArt, but it gets annoying after a while, when people can't be constructive, and complain, about a game which they are playing for FREE! :-)
nah, he said it "sucked real hard" - which is just an insult isn't it? I don't think it means that it's difficult?
And I'm not trying to get him to rate it. I just want CONSTRUCTIVE feedback, otherwise how do I make it better?
