I may have been unsufficiently precise : I was talking about the Gold logo, left column of the new Upgrades menu, not the price button that I could read without problem.... Sorry !
This yellow-on-green button is in complete contradiction with the rest of the interface. It could find its place on a game about Leprechauns and old Irish folklore... an idea for a new game ? xD
+1 on the UI rework o/ this blue was getting on my nerves xD this peachy cream is much more pleasant, cool but warm. Maybe a shade behind the Gold upgrade ? it's nearly invisible for people with my eyes.
I've begun a few hours ago and, well... while my char is already both apprentice and a "respectable wizard" he's having no access to anything, even and 66th gold coin or a 26th scroll. So I keep staring at the links [main | skills | home | player | equip ] that popped hours ago, without to lead to their content.
And the most irritating and frustrating is that, due to the other comments and the wiki, I know that this game isn't an autumnal version of the April's fool. Please tell me that you've found a benefit of such a slow and absurd beginning in such an appealing concept of a game. Please tell me I missed something evident and that there is a not hidden function that would have unlocked these dang menus hours ago.
@TheSilverShard : it happened to me as well, before I noticed, hidden in Options' list, itself hidden in "More" tab's dropdown menu, the Export option and now I systematically both copy the save code and export it to Kong's cloud. It has recently saved me weeks of game... and anger mixed with bitterness :)
(Kind of ironic that a a game about insects and genetic suffers from a memory bug)
Lovely pixels ! gj. Yet another elegant skillmaze, well done, truefire o/
But (there is often a "but") I'm both blessed and stucked : 3rd day playing, 1rst Ragnarok and... 2nd 50h warp from diam box. Can't up neither the gobcoins nor time crystals. It's rare but I wish the game's timing would be slower.
(using the game as cynetic decoration in my flat, like a computerized Calder :) nice pixels, really)
I've signed in 'coz "Oh !? an event ! Why not try this?" And, well hahaha nope. The event was over (since a few, the me paranoïd was heavily disturbed) and the game was/is still spamming "Join !" (and "buy our IRL$ currency" popups). Weird.
But out these more than current shitflies, the game itself can probably be funny if you resist the temptation :P (I spend largely more IRL money on games which leave us - me and my wallet - in peace).
With all the courtesy I'm capable of, as a retired stomato I've witnessed diarrheas less shity than both proposals of smartphone UI. Everything needs more light gray (like in the historical <3 interface), less or no dark/bold outline, and Oninou please, pretty please, even if you're living in an yellowish clayey area, don't overdose my/our eyes with this feltfromanass so-called colour o/
A friend : "Text ? no pixs ?!?"
Me : "Nope."
- And...
*insinuating "Do you have to ? Intimate ascesis ? Someone bullying you ?"*
... do you play it often ?
- Daily, thrice at minimum.
- *suffocating* And... what do you have to do ? Quests ?
- Kinda. I pump. Interns, and I joyfully alternate with pumping Influence.
*Lost a friend, howling in the fog*
Me to myself, jubilating : "Next 6 science points in 17 minutes*
I've begun a few hours ago and I already like the smooth, very readable interface, more widely the general ergonomy (except the not resizable columns) and the fact you're using a no-js language to develop your game. Very well done ! For the content itself, I'll add a comment later :) but it seems coherent and funny.
[?] me winning 3 times in a row killed my pet 'coz dis junktard hadn't had his s'ringe shot ? Mate the dev', i don't know what snow your flakes are made in, but - erf. Sad sad story, beatiful pix but sad sad story.
Still very mysterious and tricky, but it seems I'm hooked ^^ Good job, oninou o/ (and thx for the free souls ! @tigerstar186 : there are plenty of ways to earn materials without spending a penny, and due to Oni's hard work, bizarre fantasy world & funny/weird sense of humour, I wouldn't mind to spend a few kreds on this game)
Die. The tutorial said it all : BUY. Like JHomme said : "I wanna have fun, I wanna get laid". Neither me nor my credit card want to get fokd by a pretty interface.
Last update ( the ante-Xtrawberry one) made me quit : even if it's part of the story, this game's verbosity irritates me and last update took it all to a new level - even if the new events/games inside the game could have been interesting/funny.
"Damned files !" said a spreadsheet. "Fok dis PCs ! izis WinMillenium or what !?" thought a file while a folder's only noisz was "OMNOMNOMNOM - Ijast cant get enaf". Meanwhile, in a dusty basement : "I'm so hot !" was above-mentionned PCs' only concern, oddly echoing to workstations' "God ? lol god".
