Don't play normal tactical mode as a juggernaut. The third level boss can cancel out all poison over and over again, along with almost instant stuns. This makes the slower damage over time killing of the juggernaut class basically useless. It's doable, if you grind arena tons, then get the best gear, learn all his moves, and still get lucky to resist stuns. I got to plus 14% stun resist at level three with my gear and he still stunned me every time before wiping out all poison.
two complaints. WAY TOO SHORT. seriously small game with great potential. also the air support might not be the main defense but its your only last second help. the last mission was horrible to beat. that said it was more strategic without a last second supersave. 4/5. make it longer!
Got the first badge, real easy. Kept going, seemed fun enough. Thats where the problems started. For one i can not get any of the trophies for collecting things, just the depth ones. makes the end goal completely unreachable. Add to that the lagg is horrific, and gets worse the longer i play, until it gets to the point that its unplayable. A bit of updating and bug fixing and this game would be a great yet simple play, four stars pushing five. As it is its a low three, and thats being nice becuase the lagg is really annoying.
4/10. Graphics are simplistic but good. Effort has clearly gone into the storyline, although it is a bit lacking. There is very little to explain hp, stamina and rage as well as bonus weapon damage, though these are easy to figure out. Small hidden gems are a nice touch, makes it worth taking the time to clear up even when full hp rage and stamina. However gameplay is poor, combat is slow, laggy and stamina takes far too long to recuperate, thus cuasing the game to basically become run for your life for 20 seconds whilst your stamina recuperates. Some traps are placed far too close together, cuasing you to just bounce between them and die. I appreciate the extra work gone into the traps, enemies an weapons varying the game. Increase the stamine recuperation rate and i would say it's a solid 8/10. Until that its almost unplayable after about the third level (in my opinion).
Overall a great game, very impressed. I can't express how glad I am that you did not take the possible route of overpowered, paid for extra units. A few problems, in one complete play through the game I had to refresh several times due to the screen blacking out and going un-responsive whilst accessing my minion storage to take gems off of units that I had unequiped. Gameplay apart from this was smoot, the details were good and the extras to battle such as respawns as different minions or stat boosts or descreases added another dimension to battles that was refreshing. Slight grinding, mostly removed by bonus levels put in after you've past certain points, again something I believe many other games would benefit from. The character, film and game quotes and easter egg extras were good for a laugh. Sound effects were good, and the game was lagg free even when editing the options for sound, detail quality and tips. Overall impressions very good, a solid 8/10.
Well the game was brill on first looks, and i played for about four hours in one go, hardly record breaking, but addictive enough. The cracks showed when I went back to the saved game the next day, to find my kill count had reset, and that the numbers displaying cost had glitched, showing i needed only a few thousand to upgrade where it was in god knows how man gazillions before. Makes it near impossible to upgrade as I don't know how much I need to save. Playability 10/10 Sound 9/10 Graphics 9/10 Fun 10/10 Re-playability 6/10 Overall impression, it fails to meet expectations as in my opinion it is sposed to be a game you can keep going back too over and over again, but rather good none the less. 9/10! Keep up the good work!
Overall favourite class is still the samurai, though all classes have great abilities that makes them playable. The firearms make an interesting twist to range fighting, although it is still slightly difficult to enjoy the range style due to several problems, chiefly the fact that you can't see very far until you move towards the enemy, therefore removing the bonus of ranging, also the fact that some classes have a longer ranger range, making it that they can shoort from off screen without being hit, lastly that you get trapped behind your lines, which makes it especially difficult with melee to attack, and with range to get into the right spot. Sometimes if an ally move onto the spot you click, you circle them rather then do anything. At times the army doesn't move forwards until the enemy comes and attacks them, this seems especially common in the creature hunts. Overall great game, great graphics, gameplay and sound. Keep up the good work! 8/10
The creature hunting is another great idea, adding a slightly more mythological twist that works well. I was surprised to find firearms implemented in this, and I do wonder where this means the series is going. I hope I wont be setting my phaser to stun for the next sequal.
The long awaited sequal! Well over all impressions, rather good. The graphics are at least on par with the others, and some of the abilities have a nicer look to them. The gameplay is smooth, without any really slow spots. From the bottom then, the tutorial helps players get to grips with the game, and even veterans of 1 & 2 have a few changes to keep things interesting right from the start. Great twist with the enemy attacking the players cities, it was something missing in 1 & 2, this idea that the player went round raising armies and all these enemy armies just waited for them.
Well i am not impressed. Having played both BG1 and BG2, I had high hopes for this game. However i found it to be slow, the movement was jerky, and gameplay in the main screen for upgrading and increasing power was extremely tedious. On top of that after around the 4th battle I took part in I found that I could not use a base guard, turret, tower or strike. Also after the fifth day all enemy even in easy became impossibly difficult, defeating all my team with ease. Between a large portion of the game not working, and what was working slow and disjointed, the enjoyable gameplay found in BG1 and BG2 was ruined. Overall a despressing 3/10.
Anyone else find it was over before you could use everything? Still, great game, quick and easy yet still really enjoyable. No glitches at all, which is a bigger and bigger problem with games nowadays. Definately way too short, would have happily played for 120 minutes rather than the 20 it took me. Despite that 9/10 =D
so, after years of playing swords and sandals games, even buying one, the greatness ends here. Hat off to the developer for effort, but the game is glitchy, full of bugs, slow and more often then not crashes. Great graphics, great gameplay. 5/10
well it continues to disappoint. bring back the original EW 1/3 format! The shooting style is bad in every vehicle. In a shooting game, thats a big flaw. 3/10
Great game up too the end against the skull godcat form, where i seem to have glitched as i can't take turns, 6 turns of enemy attacks and i die.. apart from the unkillable boss great game! 4/5
Absolutely love the game. Really did enjoy it bu i do agree with several others a windo openingsow the ite your hovering over wold bereally useful, as well as seeing how well an item compares to an item equipped. Was however very disappointed to find that with a youtube tab up with music, the game disrupts the music, even with the game completely muted.
