I'm not sure what cheating is, I've got the badge, but I found a bug. Next to last bonus level...you can get the guy to pass in front of the stack of boxes if he's on it and she's pushing.
I like the game concept, or rather, the lack of game through applied concept ;)
Seems a tad easy though, I'm only on lvl 28 though so we'll see if the last 4 levels change my mind.
"Touch the coloured bots to move them to the targets. Bots can push other bots. That’s it!" And, oh, btw, there are different colored portals that switch things around. :P Leaving stuff out of the instructions, are we?
Its a good game. A bit frustrating at first before I realized it wasn't to be played like your average dungeon crawler. I'm not so sure I'm entirely happy with the concept, but I like it nonetheless. I have to agree with the magic being a tad under-rated though.
Great game imho, maybe I just like easy games...Anyways solid mechanics, the game makes sense, controls are good, and it even incorporates a bit of storyline. The only minor gripe I have is that the opponents aren't smarter, seems its too easy once you get the hang of it. But a good game to waste a couple hours on all in all.
Button Machine is broken!
IMHO anyways. Wrote a script to spam the mouse button, great way to clear early levels (you get really accurate results by crashing the game).
Bug/undocumented feature I've noticed with the game.
So leveling lower characters on the four star levels like the ogre and the wolves, is a good way to get new pupils trained quickly. Its also a good way to get them killed quickly.
Tip: try spamming the shift key, and moving around really quickly. If you have a high level primary character, and a couple healers, chances are that they all attack the leader instead of your puny pupils. Except your leader ain't going anywhere, and they've got four troopers firing at them simultaneously. I don't know if this was INTENDED to be a game feature, but it is nonetheless, one of the few ways to easily lvl anything in the game.
Also, fire OVER the water at enemies (works better if they can't fire back at you).
Hope this helps someone!
Nice game, wish the classes had been a tad more obvious. (I realize its part of the game, but that imho is not the mark of a great game). Enjoy the concept, hope to see it fleshed out more in future games.
Also, perhaps there should be a warning on the game (riske), characters are pleasant, but makes me think of a Magic Girl show...
I have to agree with what other posters seem to be saying. It seemed like it could be a nice game, but I just notice clunky control and issues with the physics engine. Even if the "clunk" is supposed to be a part of the game, the controls still need some polish, and odd bugs like getting stuck on the edge can be really irksome.
