I've determined that extreme capacitors are useless. With heat vent and capacitors both upgraded to similarly high levels, a single extreme capacitor would need ~700 heat vents in order to keep stable, which would take more than 4x the amount of space available. Achieving the same amount of capacity with ultimate capacitors would take 140 spaces. Therefore without even considering the heat exchangers etc that would also be needed to maintain an extreme capacitor and the fact that heat vents would lose effectiveness without mass capacitors, they have at best 20% the efficiency of their ultimate counterparts.
My progress has stagnated. Optimizing my reactor for energy gives me ~100Qa a tick but the next relevant upgrades cost ~1Sp so it takes days to get a small boost. On the other hand, prestige upgrades cost 50-100k and so heat farming to get enough for one prestige upgrade also takes days. I can't see how to progress at this point without a bot to sell power and manage heat and I'm not particularly fond of botting.
I just started the game and end up in the tutorial mission but I can't do anything but move with wasd. Aria npc just sits there, I can't interact with anything and the mouse curser is missing.
