Dude! You just completed the Thunderous OPEC Guardian achievement in Balloon Invasion and won the Thunderous OPEC Guardian badge and 60 points! -- Took about 3 weeks of on and off play. I enjoy the game but as everyone said its it VERY repetitive when you are completing the Thunderstorm and fuel of war campaigns. If there was more variation between these and the regular game it would be less tedious.
For all of you who say that "too much contra" is just typing CONTRA - you are wrong. It is Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. Typing "Contra" has worked for some people because the game does not seem to keep track of the order of the buttons pressed as long as each button has been pressed in sequence it checks it off. So if you move around for a while and then do programmers credit chances are you have done most of the keys in the sequence - typing the "a" in contra completes the sequence and gives you credit. This is why typing "contra" at the start not work.
While a decent game it needs a better way to navigate levels. If you didn't write down the "codes" there is no way to go back and redo a level you already completed.
I doubt there is anyone who is still reading the comments after 317 pages, but I'll chip in anyway. I only rated the game as a 3/5 - Firstly I feel the game lets players down in terms of graphical size - Everything seems way too small, even on a 21" screen, far worse on my laptop. Additionally after every time you die the "LOADING..." screen just screams out to me as tacky because there is not enough in each level to require such a long loading time. Other than that the gameplay was decent but the replay value of the game only came for me with the addition of badges to the game.
The Kongregate API has been added - We just need a staff member to determine how to award badges for this game...
I was hoping that Ninjakiwi would give Kongregate a version that would allow us access to the bonus tracks :(
