A decent little game, and I agree that it's too short, but this game needs a serious round of copy editing. Misspellings and the wrong words are all over the place. "PRESS [ UP ] TO BREIF", "Thought this seems simple" when it should be "Though this seems simple"... these are just on the first mission. They're everywhere. Just a little attention to detail, that's all I'm asking.
Click 'Play', wait 30 seconds for support/dev screens to roll through, then click 'Play' again before you start the game. Want to play again? Click 'Play', wait through those same screens, then click 'Play' again. It's not like it doesn't already say 'by jmtb02' and 'supported by Armor Games' on the main screen already.
Really, can we encourage less of this? I mean, the game is fun (though trackpads are seriously disadvantaged), but going through those screens is annoying enough to turn me away from re-playing it.
first!
No, really, the collision detection is wonky. It takes a while, and it still doesn't make much sense. The bat should hit a zombie that's right on top of you. But I really like the style and the small things ("Health!") that make it fun. Amazing number of 'hats'.
I agree with everyone else, this is a game with loads of untapped potential. Let's see some more variety, some more creative uses of platforms, and varied power-ups.
I'm going to go ahead and give this a five because of how much fun it is, but I'd love to see an ability to adjust volume of each instrument. I don't want my bass louder than the guitar, and I'd like to have some strings playing softly in the background.
