thanks for all comments; some feedback to the last comments, i've been working on this project for only 4 weeks, excluding some assets like the level models and the character. so a lot of features i would have loved to include were not possible to do within this time.
a random exit would be possible, but starting from level 20+ finding the exit can be hard even if you know where it is. the dying animation is actually a ragdoll, admitidly a badly pushed ragdoll.
