@todd0831 It's because you get a sense of progression without any real work. The progression makes you feel satisfied, thus you want more satisfaction. Due to this, you keep playing the game.

Why...? What's the point of keeping a placeholder here, Kixeye? If you're removing the game, get rid of it entirely, don't just leave it here, dead and decrepit.
Maybe just maybe make it even a LITTLE less pay to win? I mean, renting a gun for 1 day takes like 10 games. Is it possible to make some of the guns able to be bought permanently with just honor points?

What I find amazing about this game is that there's no premium currency, which, in my eyes, makes this game better than most other multiplayer games on kongregate.
