Yes, but even so, that means the goblin wont be focusing on your units, so your units would be able to destroy the castle before the goblin got there anyway. It worked for me perfectly first time -.-
Finally, the tactics, now you want to wait until all your creatures have spawned before charging, whilst in the mean time just comet shoot all their bombers in the centre of the level.
Once all your people have spawned, charge their castle, use rain of arrows to get rid of some of their units quickly.
Now you want to use Athena protection once you are near the castle so the invisible frog wont kill you, and straight after the Athena protection, you should use Hercule's strength so you can get a lot of damage done to their castle.
Now, when about halfway through the two buffs, you want to release ALL your spells, phoenix strike, freeze trap the invisible goblin to keep it in place and comet shoot their enemies.
Somehow though, I managed to let the goblin pass all my units and head straight to the castle, but if you follow my strategy, you should be able to destroy their castle before the Invisible goblin even reaches your castle. Good luck!

After adding all of those, the total mana should amount to exactly 2950.
Hello, I'm going to try and help people who cant beat the Cave of Trials level 5, the invisible goblin.
Firstly you want to either choose the green ogre person, or the dark blue character because they have the most mana available.
Now, you want to choose these units;
Goblin – good for fast spawns
Dwarf Engineer – good for fast spawns
Succubus – good for keeping invisible goblin at bay
Mermaid - good for keeping invisible goblin at bay
Witch - good for keeping invisible goblin at bay
Centaur Archer - good for keeping invisible goblin at bay
Ok, that should take up exactly 1225 mana.
