After beating it and getting all the badges I say it's a 4/5 game. Lost a point mainly due to the horrible "hold space to peak out" issues. Other minor complaints are the lack of subtitles, beating it on Veteran not giving the recruit reward, and not having a defined gun for the challenges. I shouldn't lose a challenge from the beginning because I chose the wrong gun unknowingly. Still a great rail shooter though.

I'm amazed at the accuracy these terrorists have when shooting around a corner from 20+ yards away.

Fun game, though I hit a bug of sorts where there would only be deals on the lower 3 ports. This made it much harder to spread the deals around to lower the risk. Fortunately it's a fast game anyway so not as big of a deal...assuming a reload fixes the issue.

Fun and enjoyable at first, it just gets frustrating in the later levels when it spawns enemies so close that they can hit you as soon as the stage starts with no valid moves to escape without getting hit 2 or 3 times.

Defense quests, while a nice idea, need to be revamped a bit to be fun. Haven't gotten far yet, but early on 2 enemies will spawn at once and depending entirely on luck may or may not make me lose since I (using a bow) cannot make them stand still and hit them. Also, the hero should aim for the closest monster to the goal, again when using a bow. Finally, I'm not sure how damage works in it currently, but I'd suggest that it should be based the number of dice of damage your weapon does. So an orc may only have 2D worth of health and so my 2D6 bow would kill it automatically. It would be more rewarding instead of relying entirely on luck to hit the enemy, and then MORE luck to hit it hard enough to kill it. Maybe it gets better later, but early on it was just a frustration.

A solid 4/5 with the point lost due to bad pacing on early waves. Especially day 3. Perhaps make the wave take longer to spawn overall, but have more enemies. I'd say each wave should be worth at least 100 resources. Other minor gripes are the camera angle that steals some of your building space and lack of grid locking for placing guys. Color coded firing angles, as well as a toggle per unit for their angle to remain on would be nice as well.

My biggest complaint is the random people you get. Currently I have a party of 2 clerics and 4 mages. I think it would be better if you had a choice between classes, or a certain order that it spun through so you don't end up with one or two types. Other than that, fairly clever and a fun time. Though money bags could force 2 movement from their location to help deal with large blocks of pre-built dungeon that you have to go through.

Extremely well done for a flash game and a lot of fun. Brakes are unnecessary and could have been replaced with a bumper upgrade that lessens the effect of impacts of other cars but all in all a fun time. Although the overhanging rocks on 8 were rather annoying as they made it difficult to see the narrow road enough to avoid purple cars that could easily push you into the wall. However even with a couple deaths like that I made the target time on the first try.

Also, riot shield does not make you immune to all stuns...as I was just stunned to death by the bee. I had 97% health going into the battle and had just one round of action.

The benefits of using more powerful attacks are usually not enough to warrant the extra chance to miss and to be further behind. Another issue is the damage scale...With the 30% hat and a +3 defense party member, I still get hit by a blue bug for 49% health sometimes. Considering they take multiple rounds usually, that's hard to deal with. Although so far my biggest gripe is that even after you finish the mission in the telecomm, you still have to bring Boffin along to finish searching the area.

I like the variety of options in the game, but 2 things really annoy me. First, is that negative bonuses appear way too often. They aren't fun and with the limited screen space I'm forced to either eat them or a barrage of enemy fire. Secondly, the screen size when fighting bosses is too small. Dodging their attacks becomes nigh impossible considering half if not more of the screen is taken up by the boss itself.

Fun but I agree that the single cooldown system could be much better. Also, instead of randomizing a level as you enter it, I think it'd be better if each square was color coded so you knew the level design you were going into so those who want everything could aim for the levels they wanted and ignored the ones that never have anything new. Also, until you get a dragon I found the bandit to be the best, since for attack you have the bow which hits hard, can be spammed quickly and can be arced to hit enemies that polymorph you while you also get the super jump with gives you access to all but one spawn area.

This would be much better if the camera on the rocket zoomed out the faster you were moving, in order to give you time to dodge incoming objects or aim for power ups. Also, it seems like most accelerators are merely traps, flinging you into an ill placed object without any means of dodging.

A very good solid game, although the randomness in the patrols and exit locations make it more luck than skill sometimes. Perhaps showing one of 5 or 6 possible exits at the beginning so you could plan ahead a bit better.

Only real flaw I see is the screen shake on enemy death/explosion...it makes dodging bullets much more difficult than it needs to be. Other than that, it might be nice to have numbers on the stats so I know how much of an increase the +50 damage card is compared to the offensive ships 5 notches.

Some of the bosses (especially the last one) have way too much health. Also, for making it essentially a bullet hell yet having explosions obscure your ship and enemy fire (the blue plasma balls) that has a larger hit box than graphic is a really bad idea. The controls were a little sloppy due to the mouse thing, but I can adjust to that. 10 minutes for a boss whom occasionally hits me for 30hp when I wasn't that close to his shot is just annoying as all get out.

Farrhago, spell special effects, such as mana leak and poison, are adjusted at the end of a round...if you have 10 poison counters on you, and there are 5 on them, then the game removes the difference so that you'll have 5 on you and 0 on them. It's one way to getting rid of negatives on yourself, but it does get annoying when rely on counters on the enemy for other attacks.

Fun, but even with the cheaper unit achievements not always working (or rarely working in my case) it was extremely easy. About the only challenge is to be Prussian and face off against Britain without using cannons. Hardest achievement to get was Obsessive since even with only 20 units my walls rarely got touched and would heal what minor damage they took. Occasionally hit bug where my unit couldn't return fire to one that was shooting it, even though they were the same unit. Fortunately it was rare enough that never caused a loss.
