love the game. really good puzzles for plus and squared modes. but links mode offers no puzzle whatsoever. feels more like a connect-the-dots game. the 50x50 expert is only marginally harder than the first 5x5 apprentice. the only progression is in the time it takes to link all the pairs
fun, but easy. upgrades are really easy to get. from some point early in the game, gifts become completely useless because there's nothing more to spend them on
@SharonAhChee: When the L drops to activate the green trigger, you should have D on first column, FUN above the white transformer, H above the first letter space, and A above the only glueless gap (except last column where L drops). After that, it's all easy.
These games are great in every respect... Simple idea with very good level design and hilarious animations. This 3rd part was a bit easier than the 2nd and gives a feeling that less time was spent on making it than on the first two.
Way too short and easy... I suppose the story is the important thing here, but I didn't play the first 2 chapters, so I wouldn't know. But if I started this game at chapter 3 with random skills (didn't know what they do yet) and finished in no time, then I can imagine those who played the first 2 chapters would finish in like 5mins.
Nice to see a game with good level design. Many underestimate the importance of this. I've seen original ideas fail because levels were not well designed (and generally too easy), while simpler ideas (like this game) making great games just because each level is very well thought out.
Also @Death2Zombies, why would anyone complain about number of levels? The more the better... If I like the game, I want to keep playing lots of levels. If I don't like the game, I can stop at any time. I for one am very happy to see a game that takes more than 5 minutes to complete
I think that gamerscul9870's horribly spelled comment is trying to say that spot the differences games can be easily solved by using the cross-eyed technique... What I love about this particular series is that you can't cheat that way (because of the mirroring or vertical positioning).
I see many comments that there are not enough clues, or that you need to click randomly. Are you serious? There were clues for everything in the game, nothing random involved.
And for someone who actually played real point-and-click adventure games like Monkey Island or Indiana Jones, these little flash games are just 5 minute distractions. Don't comment that games are too hard just because they're not suited for a 12 year old playing their first game.
@gameboyjsa Yes, that was my first complaint... I can't play the game without the sound on. A game like this should have options to: mute music, mute fx, enable subtitles.
Also, I got several medals during the game. Where do I see them?
I play with my sound off and it's annoying to see the character moving his lips and no option to find out what he's saying. Actually, I don't see any kind of options (like the always mandatory mute button for those who play with their sound on)
We're working to improve that game mode.
