I see all these comments saying it wasn't funny, but I personally thought it was an excellent parody of plenty of pretentious minimalist platformer games like The Company of Myself and I Saw Her Standing There, etc.
You might want to note that it's in french in the description. Once I got to the actual game, I was disappointed to find an empty maze, that isn't even functionally hexagonal (each hexagon shaped room only has four opposing doors, always in a square), and antiquated controls and graphics. Also, While I can't read french, the long scrolling field of text that I'm assuming is help info could easily be relegated to a help menu button in game.
Wow, I usually try to make my criticism at least partially constructive but this game is just terrible. It's like you sat down with an old over used game concept and said "What can we do to make this unbearably awful and unplayable?" Usually when people rehash these old tired ideas they attempt to add something new and creative.
There's potential here, but you need more. For instance, a goal of some sort (without a goal, why would you play more than once? Even a high score system would do.) The mouth beam thing needs reworking, I mean, how exactly does it pass through things? Making the beam collide with the first object it touches would not only make more sense, it would add a bit more challenge to the game. As it is, you only really have to focus on three things to not die: Tank shots, flying soldiers, and the large bullets. If your laser couldn't pass straight through things to hit whatever your mouse cursor is aiming at, you couldn't hit the bullets as soon as they appear on screen, adding a considerable challenge to it.
This would be almost interesting if it gave score in a way that people could understand (I have no idea where a 1.6 ranks), had more explanation (why E instead of simple arrows? Is this in any way a real vision test? what does my score mean?), and the resolution needs to be fixed (can't really test my vision when your "E" symbols become a pixelated mess). This seems like a half assed attempt at a game.
This is a pretty sub-standard game. I've played countless games similar to this in concept, but most of them have much better execution. If you're going to rehash tired old game concepts, you should at least attempt to add something original. 2/5
Fun game, but I had some really bad problems with weapons that I created ceasing to work when moved around and then I was unable to sell them or do anything with them. I also encountered a glitch where purchasing weapons gave me the value of the weapon in cash, and one where weapons that I removed and sold remained attached to the ship and working but I still got the money for them. Aside from those glitches, game was great.
Congratulations on getting badge of the day for this horrible game. Did you guys sit around while making this game going "You know, Indestructo Tank was fun. Maybe we should make a sequel that takes everything about the first one and makes it more frustrating."
I mean seriously, This game is entirely based on random luck, I had to start levels multiple time because there were no planes, no matter how slow i moved to the edge, and then i just fell into the pit again and again. I'm not gonna start on the boss fights. 1 star
Could be an awesome game, but there are too many issues. The physics mess up and the water won't move correctly until you reset, except there isn't a reset button or anything so you have to exit to the main menu.
The concept of this game is great. But the game itself is horrible. It is so fast paced that you rarely have time to focus on which bots you want to evolve, and even if you do it is almost impossible to get the to evolve in the categories that you want them to.
Yes, I miss those games
