Can't decide whether the shop does nothing, or whether buying stuff in it actually makes the game harder. Got to floor 215ish with a balanced Axeman build without buying ANYTHING in the shops, decided to cash in my horde of gold and bought like 6 or 7 of each "upgrade..." and then died a few floors later. Despite the fact that it should have nearly DOUBLED all my stats in an instant, my fights actually seemed to get harder, not easier.
This game seemed pretty fun at first, but after awhile it really began to sink in that the gameplay basically amounts to "click buttons periodically to keep these four numbers balanced in relation to one another." Still, fun for awhile, and normally I'd have given it a 3/5... but because you tried to bribe people into rating it high, I docked you a point. 2/5
This game is a huge let-down. When I imagine a game where I can control gravity, I think of terrorizing a city - cars flying through the air, people flying out of the windows of buildings, mass pandemonium! Definitely NOT guiding a green waffle through a series of mazes. 1/5
Not a bad launcher game... but the balance of good/bad random stuff is way off. For instance, getting a fuel powerup gives you perhaps 3 seconds more time in the air... but hitting even one obstacle moderately hard will absolutely WRECK YOUR WORLD. It should be more balanced, so that their effects are comparable (for instance, have a powerup that speeds you up 20% and an obstacle that slows you down 20%).
Beautiful graphics, varied and fun level design, wonderful music, entertaining storyline, great upgrades that come quickly enough to be exciting and motivating... the only reason I'm only giving this 5 stars is because I can't give it 6! Bravo, sir!
Way, way too laggy. Seems like the lag is caused by clicking rapidly in succession. Dropped the graphics down and was able to avoid the lag mostly... until I started facing enemies that took 10+ clicks to kill. Lots of clicks = lots of lag = game over. Good idea, but needs some fixing. 3/5
For some reason, the French can't upgrade their walls in my game - it'll take my money, but it won't unlock the better walls. Also, I agree with the other poster who said the cannons could use a "don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes" button. Other than that, kudos! 4/5
Hmm... Nice music, interesting idea, but boring implementation. Everything needs to advance FASTER - the upgrading/credit crystal amounts, the enemy difficulty, etc.
Only a handful of useful towers + having to grind the same levels over and over + the main difficulty of the game coming from knowing how quickly to press the "n" key = BORING! 2/5 stars
At first glance, this game seemed pretty rough around the edges... then I found myself playing it over and over again! It's so addictive, exploring the different ways to advance, trying to be more efficient... 4/5 stars, and this needs a sequel!
This game is very well made - finely balanced and a nice time waster. The levels get very difficult, though - you'll definitely need all of the upgrades you can manage to buy!
This game is an awesome idea. It's sort of like Dig-Dug, except instead of there being monsters everywhere there's just environmental dangers to contend with - gas pockets, boulders, and burning lava. Oh, and you get money and can upgrade your digging machine. So... better in every conceivable way :D
Hey, just a heads up here - the comment below this has BIG, BIG spoilers in it.
This game makes me very, very, VERY angry. So many of the levels are painfully simple... and then there's level 29, the level that made me say, "Screw this game. I'm never playing it again, and I'm giving it a one-star rating for its lack of a hint/help feature."
Man... the PanCor Jackhammer is the way to go in survival mode. You don't even have to move - just sit in front of the base and destroy anything that gets close!
