To answer your question as soon as the Alien Army has been defeated once than in the weapon shop you unlock the ability to purchase futuristic weapons with much higher stats than the previous shop!
Breaks at Battlefield 6 iso with no progress or stats displayed and no interactivity (buying or moving through files). Clicking seems to be fixed, however.
