AAAAAARGH! - Love killing the last boss. FINALLY! - Only to die from whatever crap is still flying around. Guess what? I get to do it ALL AGAIN before I'll get that achievement..
There's so much stuff flying around in the second and in particular the third level. Quite hard to keep apart what goes where and what to avoid, at times I want to avoid the mana and fuel gains as I am afraid they'll hurt. I wonder how much fun it'd all be for a colourblind person?
Those eyebrows are very suggestive... (and there's still a snail bob I never could finish because a cart was missing in my version of the game, have tried again and again and it's never there)
OMG! DIAGONAL ROLLS! Discovered them at stage 11. SO EFFECTIVE. Why did I think you could only roll back and forth? Accidental roll downwards made me try.. diagonal FTW!
Whoa. I had horrible trouble with a fully upgraded Pixel and never managed to beat the octo. Then restarted the game with Ryu and *pooof* octo was beaten. Wouldn't even have been a hard badge really...
Okay it took a while to pay attention to, but I love how the auction house clock actually is a working clock in the player's timezone! Yay for little details :) (Does it count as an Easter Egg or not?)
Okay I officially hate the game. If only because even after having refreshed severa l times it never gets past "loading sound". And YES I gave it permission to save on my HD, but no. Game won't load.
Would've loved to have a few more challenging levels. It's quite satisfactory to try to solve them, hard enough that you can't quite get it at first, yet not so hard that you give up in frustration. The fun colours and responsiveness (even using firefox on ubuntu) just add up to 5/5.
I liked the game well enough. Yep, had to think somewhere, but it wasn't too difficult. Also I really loved it that you reused the items you had. For example the spear -> fishing pole -> use it to measure a spear's lenght -> make it a spear again. Or the tongs, hammer and master key got a lot of use. :) -- yeah should've had a typed up walkthrough, I used the video one a bit, but would've preferred to check a typed one at those couple of places I got stuck. (Gramophone, jail, mine)
The Rincewind reference was obvious and unmissable. I am so proud of having found the Peter Pan / Captain Hook one! :) -- you must have more of them hidden there, methinks.
a dozen, at least ;) There's a Bugs Bunny reference, two Wheel of Time's, two Badger song's, a Dragonball reference, some Beavis and butthead, the three blind mice (I thought this was obvious), a Dylan Dog reference (MEGA OBVIOUS to people who know who that is) and others. I forget already.
