I'm nowhere near max speed, yet the screen easily outruns the knight, stranding him, shortly, off screen. Then the monsters start respawning on top of him (since they spawn off screen). Thus he fights some 10-20 critters in the span of a second, much faster than you can get back to him. This is great for loot when he's overpowered, but really annoying when he's not, since you die constantly. Good/bad bug?

"Day 32: I think I must be losing my mind. It shouldn't take this long to fix a broken down car, should it? Or maybe I am already mad? Damn, I hope these are really zombies I'm shooting - some of them look like children! But then again some of them are bigger even than that bully Kurt at work. He laughed at me. LAUGHED! Said I'd never invent boots to let you jump square over another person, or the pocket-vendor who accepts zombie guts as cash. But WHO'S LAUGHING NOW EH? Anyways, I almost have the rear wheels on, then I'll go hunt for the front ones. They must still be where I left them. It's funny, I really should have brought all four wheels over here right away, but for some reason I just couldn't bring myself to pick them up, after I collected the rear ones. Better hurry, it'll be night soon, and then all movement will slow to an unbearable crawl, and occationally halt entirely for a few seconds. That is the worst of all."
Thank you for the nice reset button. Now how's about giving me my points back or at least letting me redo achievements to re-earn them, so that I can boy the upgrades I do like?
Trying to get the last two achievements: Kill with crossbow and Kill with spikes. The wery last bit of damage was done by a shooting spike trap, and not a single crossbow anywhere. Got the crossbow achievement though... Guess I'll try again :)
How absolutely delighting! I saw this categorized as 'funny' I didn't know how right they were. Cliché as it may sound, this did in fact make me laugh out loud.
@RaiderZee: Wow. Sometimes you just can't click that "+" button hard enough! (The "rate this comment as good").
@Mateusz Skutnik: Super game again. I enjoyed it very much.
Promising game - but then one worker got stuck walking into a wall, leaving a four-man project unfinished in Coding! Can't fire him, can't scrap the project, can't use three other workers because they are stuck in the project, sleeping at their tables... What?
1: 40 of your mobsters killed, 10 Barese mobsters killed - 2: 40 of your mobsters killed, 10 Barese mobsters killed - 3: 40 of your mobsters killed, 10 Barese mobsters killed - 4: 40 of your mobsters killed, 10 Barese mobsters killed WHAT?? This with maxed weapons and all...
Oh! I am so sorry - meant to also say how much I like this game. The subtleness of the background music really offsets the slow, deliberate pace of the game. Very well done.
Exellent! Deep story. Heartfelt. It is such an immense joy to slowly uncover the story and piece together the little clues. Absolutely one of the best and most beautiful little games I have playes in a very long time.
I wish the big game developers would balance their games like this and take heed the elegant beauty of good art combined with pleasing music and a great story. Eagerly awaiting the third installment! (Cause there will be a third one, right?)
This game is hauntingly beautiful, and the tale is well told. The end boss however, is boooring - not easy, just tedious. I feel that I have no control what so ever over when my attacks are going to work or not.
First thought: Oh no, another Pirates of the Caribbean knockoff.
Thoughts after playing:
1 - Not a knockoff - nice!
2 - Great game, great art, great fun.
3 - Really captures the point and click genre - the humor, the unfolding story, the where-the-frag-is-that-last-item-I-haven't-clicked-yet rage - it's all there!
4 - Short but sweet!
(P.S.: really love the art)
Nice game. I enjoyed it, but have an observation: Firstly, It is possible to get more special bonus gear than your box can hold, forcing you to either destroy it or lug it around. Not cool. Secondly, I specialized in ranged and were very happy to get the third bonus item, but since I could not see it's caracteristics while in the box, had to pick it up to see, if it was better. Low strength + heavy gun + that kind of ammo unavailable at the time + not enough room in the box to put it back without destroying special items = me hauling a heavy-ass gun around pointlessly, unable to pick up useful stuff. Leaves me wondereing if this was a concious choice, to force the player to have only one special item... Seems like an oversight though, and one that could have been remedied by having much more storage space in the box.
