The very first music reminds me of Darwinia... Great games, both of them. The only thing that connects them is this strange feeling when listening to the first music here and the awesomeness of these games, though ;P
An even easier method of copying items. Have saome room in your first page of inventory, and second page full of potions. Open storage, switch to the second page of inventory, and pick up an item that you want to copy from storage._______
Put it into first slot on the second page. Click somewhere on your HP bar to "drop" the potion. It goes to the first page of your inventory, that's why it is important to have space there._______
Now, pick up the item and put it into second slot. Drop potion on HP bar. Pick up the item. put it into the third slot. Drop, pick up, et cetera._______
After you're done, close storage, switch back to the first page of inventory(some potions disappear), close inventory. Open inventory, switch to the second page, and you have as many copies as you moved potions!
It would be great if you could sort items, like head, then all body armors, then necklaces... Or only show a particular type of items while searching through the inventory.
It's a great game, just like its previous versions, but it could be even better with a few improvements:
1. make paving ctrl+click or shift+click instead of simple click, it is really annoying if you miss a unit you wish to improve quickly and have to look for X in order to close the "Do you wish to..." instead of...
2. click outside a box to close it. It will make upgrading units MUCH easier, and will get rid of problems with accidentally clicking somewhere you didn't want to.
3. Change the unit level-up "ding" script, right now it still checks the base exp needed to lvlup(like 500, 1000), instead of counting (leadership? logistics? I don't remember at the moment) bonus(which would make it 400 and 800 exp respectively).
One great tip for beginners who have premium(i.e. Endurance):
Redo maps using the hardest battle settings possible + Endurance. Try to get battle settings multiplier to about 61.1x. Survive about ten waves, will be very hard to do any better.
Now, instead of 1000 exp, you get 55 000 exp! ;)
I don't think many of you like to buy premium, but anyways, this little thing about multipliers helped me a LOT, especially when using a nice Wild Gem as your first weapon.
A suggestion of a possible improvement: for challenge amulets, add a bar showing our best score for a given level, like "Reach wave 100 beaten. Best so far: 73/100".
how comes a monster planet(don't remember how huge exactly, but it was written in "something e something" notation) - half the size of last, blue "killer" planet orbit, got vaporized by a sun so small it looked like a yellow dot? ;P
I'm not sure who created music for Stunt GP(a rc cars racing game from 2001), but did you mention him in the credits? It's the music from in the maim menu. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1zeoeZKF9g is the link to this piece of game soundtrack.
Sth is wrong with lvl 23. I still get giant waves on heroic, even though it says "no giant monsters" in the description. That is the only one I have noticed this problem seems to happen with.
