If you're having trouble with getting badges on Chrome, look up into the address bar. Click the puzzle piece next to the bookmarks and choose to run all plugins this time. Yes, you have to do this even if you've whitelisted flash on kongregate before.
This game is hilariously unbalanced. But once you get through level 5, you get the flamethrower for easy mode. Oh, and if there's an antidote and a car on the same screen? Don't worry, the game knows what you want...forget that antidote.
Luckily, your antidote count sticks around if you pass a level, and re-doing it only spawns the antidotes you missed, so if you only get one but you pass, your count still goes up by one. This means you can get your badge and be done with this game sooner.
Ugh. Did I do the taco one yet? I've done so many of these things...
No, I don't do the taco one. I don't have the time or patience for this. Sorry, kong. I'll get my kongpanion tomorrow.
I wanted to like this game. But it just seems simplistic, juvenile, and slow. I'm sure a lot of work was put in, but in comparison to so many other games on this site, it just doesn't measure up.
I love the gemcraft series, I could play this for days. Incredibly deep and nuanced gameplay, as usual. But now you allow clipboard saves? YES. THANK YOU.
more! Simple and clever, love it. Build on the elements you've introduced - multiple timed sequences in a row, having to pull a pin in different places while tracing moving wires! This has SO much potential.
Great game! I love the fast paced action, lots of enemies, very responsive controls, lots of combos and ways of playing! Five stars and a favorite because this is a ton of fun.
There are many things that are unclear about the game, though. The upgrade menu needs some different organization and maybe little visual indicators to show how much you've upgraded. The descriptions of attacks or upgrades are sometimes not clear what is meant. [S dot D] + click? And apparently [D dot S] is different? I got them to work most of the time. Still not sure what stasis is, either, but it apparently worked in my favor.
The evasion mechanic where you suddenly disappeared really threw me, it was never explained. For those confused, that's a "scapegoat" that looks like a log, you'll reappear near your mouse.
I had a ton of fun playing this game, thank you kreig13! There were just a few things that bugged me, and they'd be fixed by slightly better (and maybe a bit more visual) explanation.
thanks! it was a hard time getting this game out since i started it as a noob. the S dot D simply means press S, pause for a while, then D. I'm guilty for giving incomplete information. apologies as this is my first game. will hope to improve it on the sequel.
@doomdane : the card is used Kongai, an online collectible card game developed by Kongregate and playable here: www.kongregate.com/games/kongregate/kongai
This is a fantastic and clever game that would be perfect with more robust control. Doing things takes me twice as long as it should because cuboy will often get stuck behind an npc, or go where I did not intend. No mute button - though I can get around it, an unnecessary annoyance. Badges did not register. 4/5.
ok, this is getting really tedious. I like the "build your own deathbringer" idea, and you do that well, aside from the part where requirements aren't explained well. Class and complexity aren't explicit and sometimes I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to add a part, but I'm denied. The concept is there, the execution still gets snarled.
But what really gets me is the tedious factor - I'm giving up on finding the boss because it's too frustrating to enter one bubble at a time, not knowing what I'm fighting because the lag brings the framerate to nil. The skill is taken out of the game because I'm not really playing anymore. My computer is a solidly home-built desktop with ample memory, connection, and graphics capabilities, yet I can't play this flash game on its "efficiency" settings?
You need to fix something. No hard feelings, but something didn't come out quite right.
