Great concept, i like the idea, but the control scheme really does break the game. This is especially evident in level 10 when suddenly your bugs become unusable cannons if you're not careful. An alternate control scheme, such as select then click would be useful - as well as a "zoom out" option to view more of the level. Crisp controls are a must!
amazing premise! wonderful use of color, sound, and speed. Perfect learning curve with a deep, addicting quality. On top of that, you've weaved a meaningful and surprisingly fitting metaphor that can be understood by all.
Masterful!
The gameplay makes logical sense, which is a definite plus for these types of games, but maybe too much so. I felt a bit let down by the somewhat simple and kiddy feel to it. The PIPs are a welcome addition to increase replay, but I just wasn't motivated to go back and find them because of the unimaginative play and the "we-tried-to-make-them-silly-and-funny" plot points.
I was excited to see a new bubble tanks, but now I'm very disappointed. The uprated comments say it all: bubble points and bigger classes are surprisingly useless, the error message is confusingly long, and you've gotten rid of the innovative gradual bubble loss/addition. Also, I really enjoyed the exploratory nature of the previous games, the linearity is not awful but feels like a copout so that you can make user-created levels. Listen to the feedback here before making another, and you might gain back your fanbase.
i'm pretty sure their number of badges awarded doesn't update immediately, especially since I just got the hard badge and it still says only 1 badge awarded
hahaha, well done - an imaginative jump from "Achievement Unlocked", and an old school shooter to boot! The fact that the ship upgrades are completely customizable is *beyond* amazing! More games should take that part of your creation.
CONGRATULATIONS FOREVER!!!
REALLY well done - music, sound effects and graphics are superb, the fact that you simply cannot fully upgrade all of your systems (and must choose your upgrades) is refreshing, and the game is laid out very well. one of my favorites, please make a sequel!
nice concept. I like the idea of having to play around with the boxmen to see what they do, instead of outright telling the player. Could get annoying if the boxmen did complex stuff...but it works here.
