Man I was soo glad when I found out I didn't have to use the cursor to aim my weapons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man, I hearted this game without playing it the moment it came out to help myself remember to play it (cause LTF 1 & 2 were awesome). I finally got to playing it now for the BOTD, and after just a few minutes, I unhearted it and hated it.
I'm just glad it's not horrible. Quality music, I could see this game being in the games folder with Mahjong, Minesweeper, and Solitaire that comes with the computer. If you're into that sort of thing. I always played Skifree over those games.
This game takes too much time and thought to figure out. I would much rather spend my time learning and practicing something that I can benefit from - or simply just play a game that is entertaining and fun!
I haven't worked it down to a science, but in the "tile" mode (Green levels), if you wait for 2 or more things to stack up, then attempt to mash the numbers you have filled quickly at the same time about 3 times, you'll be able to summon extra units or wand cast for those tiles. I've mainly used it by mashing one and two when I only have two tiles, but the time that I finally beat 4-03 I had gotten a bunch of extra units and filled the thing up and mashed all 8 numbers quickly. I have a few hunches for why this is happening but haven't figured it out yet.
Since everyone thinks suggestions are in need, I suggest you show a picture of a guy with a crew cut smoking a cigarette after beating a level or the game.
Good game! Never scene those controls used before for that type of game, if you thought of them first, good job. Music on one level reminded me of music from Turtles in Time. Good stuff!
