You should definitely change your sound effects, get rid of the horrible reverb slam. The sound for your game should match the graphics. You need an atari sound for the slam, a 4 second long intro song every time they restart the game or die, and an atari type sound when the character dies, and no reverb (reverb is the opposite of what retro game sounds are). This allows your game to have more iconic value and make it more interesting and fun. This would make your game and next game totally more solid.
If you were around making games back when atari and nintendo got started, you would be world famous right now. Excellent job! Can't wait to see a game you make with lot's of time put into it. You should definitely stick with the retro theme since you obviously get it.
i don't like doing puzzles, although I enjoyed when I had a time limit to spice things up. What's so confusing about "complete a random level of size 3", I don't know why renempaz has an upped comment for explaining to someone in English how to read English. Please minus that stupid comment everyone.
this game is cool, you can actually achieve the badge of the day in a reasonable amount of time. The hardest level for me to get three stars in was level 16, it took me several random tries. I enjoyed this game, and would play a second version for sure.

This game is amazing. Design, controls, style are all top notch. reminds me of an old game that I would enjoy playing on computer or nintendo. Quality game. First platformer I've enjoyed playing on Kongregate. I actually read the dialog in the beginning, it caught my interest right from the beginning. This person knows how to make games.
I like how the gambling games are rigged. It teaches the kids a good lesson that gambling is not a good answer to your money problems. If you gamble everything and get 21 in blackjack, the dealer will get blackjack and beat you. That is just the way it goes.
I will go back to this game later to continue to play it. But the badge of the day is just impossible to get. This game is good, but I'm not going to spend 5 hours of my time all in one sitting to earn it. I will continue to play the game and eventually earn the badge.

I was dissapointed when the arrow keys didn't do anything and then I realized this was one of those click puzzle games. Whatever happened to games like Maniac Mansion and Dragons Lair. If you like to make point and click, go that route. Yet, Dragons Lair does not compare at all to Maniac Mansion. I don't like Dragons Lair but it's at least better than these.

I never would have guessed to put the toilet paper in the toilet after putting it on top of his head, how weird. Plus on one instance the alien didn't kill the guy(he missed his head and then flew through the window). good thing I looked for the answer or I would have wasted time thinking that I missed something and tried for that ?glitch? again.
Wow!?!? If this person made a car racing game it would take 20 different commands to push down the accelerator. Did any of you guys actually play this?
