How can they fight when they're busy hacking at a wooden doll? ;)
Great game, enjoying it quite a lot. Max of six heroes in a fight but max of 30 heroes in your group means you can train skills/heal/revive while fighting with other heroes. Play it right and you could ultimately grind endlessly. Haven't a chance to check out PvP.
Demanding a completely new server simply for Kongregate is the equivalent of demanding a completely fresh Earth at the time of your birth. Guess what, you're not Adam. You're human #10,000,000,000th. Deal with a world full of older humans than you.
I don't understand the hate for facebook servers. So you can't be #1 in two days, BIG FLIPPING DEAL. Get the **** over it, people. It's a great game, super enjoyable, and after going past Outpost 5+, resources start getting slightly hard to collect. I really love having multiple, independent, fleets that can conduct their own battles, doesn't require you being there but you can still join battles. One building upgrade at a time kind of sucks, but you can have multiple upgrades occurring.
This game is developed by the same people who did Backyard Monsters, so already scored some points here.
Anyone who enjoyed playing Blood Brothers on the mobile will immensely enjoy this one. I'm looking forward to all the special events, raid bosses, and all the new features this game clearly will be getting in the weeks and months that follow.
This game is pretty sweet, but there are some flawed mechanics behind this. To accomplish at many things, you must be an offensive-type. This means being heavily dependent on Gunnery and/or Navigation. Having a high defense means nearly nothing. Please add some sort of feature where clans can attack together in groups, or bosses in groups. Add in formations. I want to be able to absorb attacks for other players so they can continue to attack. I have 250 Defense, 0 Gunnery, and 0 Navigation. While I love my virtually invulnerable ship, it doesn't do as much damage as other people (totally reasonable), it serves no purpose in bosses, clan wars, raids, or anything else. I cannot get enemy clans to attack me instead of my clan members, I cannot absorb boss attacks for my group, I cannot do anything of the sort. Please give Defense-exclusive ships a purpose!
Please add a key for regular mining. I prefer WASD/Arrows over Mouse for movement, and would like to be able to use spacebar or some other key to mine, instead of being forced to use left-click.
Hi Manaco, the nature of targeting the rocks makes this difficult unfortunately. The WASD keys are intended to be the primary movement method, with the mouse necessary to accurately aim.
While I enjoyed the game very much, Endless/Time Attack seems pretty dull to me. Without specific objectives, the game feels boring. I enjoyed the "tutorial" levels more than anything. Highly desired, more levels!
Is it possible at all to divide up fleets in a way so not every ship is defending or hiding on one planet? Like, I would like to hide 50 fighters, while having 200 fighters and 1000 unmanned on defense?
Just found the Microwave Curtain (Tech Tree 2, by the way) and popped that sucker in the queue. This needs to be every new player's highest priority to research. Thanks for the info!
Volod, have you considered the possibility of a Hangar-type building? All ships being built would be sent directly to hangar, and the hangar is immune to enemy attacks (the hanger doesn't defend). So all new ships that gets built are safe from attacks and doesn't defend for you UNTIL you select the units themselves and set them on Defense, putting them at risk of destruction. It's impossible to even explore a level 0 threat zone when the game builds a ship one by one, automatically putting them on defense when you have an enemy (or several) sending hundreds of ships to your planet every 30 minutes.
A similar functionality is implemented in the game. You can research Microwave Curtain and build Undercover Base. This will allow you to hide your fleets from enemy attacks.
Thanks Manaco!
