Old timers have it much easier starting a new game here because we know where to go and what to aim for. But every one of us started from the beginning at some point and we also struggled as a newbie. Don't expect to jump in and master everything within a few clicks. The in-game tutorial does not teach anything beyond interface layout. You need the forum as your guide. Ask the veteran too, they are more than glad to help.
CoB is at heart a grinding game. Even at max level we still have to work at leveling up our powers or searching for that one ingredient to craft our item. If you have the patience and an interest in RPG, don't miss out on this rough diamond that's constantly being polished by the devs.
