I will confess, i had WRITTEN this game off as being some Sudoku knockoff with a hundred tips and strategies and had avoided it before. But NOW, after giving it a shot, the rules were simple and easy to understand, and the "only one unique way to solve" tip was helpful as it was in Picma. So i must say, this game is quite a great game, and I give it two thumbs up :)
Well a hearty thanks to Clickshake and it's creators for working hard on the sequel, and for enduring multiple annoying request, threats, and insults while trying to get this game out :P So really, no rush on a third if it ever gets made :P
Ok so after a LONG time not playing, i TOTALLY forgot i was focusing on spread gun over machine or laser :P HOWEVER, I was able to pick it back up no problem just by remembering controls and mechanics in general. So i can honestly say this game deserves it's praise. Indeed a big game like this is hard to sell, but a sequel could be made with less story but still a good story, so long as the rpg elements are as simple as this game is. I truly feel no intimidation at the system, and that I can plan my weapons and defense as i see fit.
So spells are on a "cooldown" rather than a mana cost thing? Interesting indeed. I mean, it's as if to say, you have your spells, no need for mana, so USE THEM :D And yet still one must use them wisely. I must say, this is a CLEVER game. Two thumbs up.
Ok I remember the moles and the infamous "whack a mole" Animal Rush mission :P But man, final weapon can actually hurt them before they pop up? Now that is epic :)
I love this game. I mean, the system is fair enough to understand. Also, I love how the classes are kinda like the job system from the final fantasy tactics games.
Only thing I wish, is that i could look once again at what each stat determines, just in case I feel I read it wrong the first time. Other than that, LOVE the game. So two thumbs up.
Ok i confess, at first the game seemed intimidating, BUT, the light hearted nature of the game, the familiar characters, and a little time, and NOW i can honestly say I LOVE this game a lot :)
Ok so yes, indeed, some games are just demanding of computer performance. It's also true that very few FLASH games have voices in it. And indeed, this is to Kongegrate and all flash platformers/puzzlers what Portal 2 is to the PC, only, not so evil :P I must say, clever game indeed.
