"And as our brave hero and the Black Knight Captain faced off, the battle led to but a standstill. Both our hero and his opponent seemed on their last legs, but the hero's breath ran deep as he lept into the air. 'A dunking upon thee!' Our hero shouted, as he ran his pickaxe straight into the helm of the fierce knight. But still the knight stood, smacking our hero back into the wall. Thinking fast, straight into the cracked helmet, our hero let loose his fearsome ultimate weapon! His great, poison-covered duck-shaped toy of rubber. And so, the fierce knight fell to our brave hero." Man, I can do a lot with this game. XD
You know what would make this better? A way to opt-in on controlling adventurers during combat when you send them out on quests. I don't know about all of you, but that would be kinda cool. I mean, some people would like to just perform on the management parts... But throw in some action and you're attracting all crowds. J/s.
...Wow. I honestly didn't think that a game could get this (perhaps unintentionally) deep. Think about it. The girl could do all of the stuff that she could by the end of the game. Upon getting the Wills, you're given no tutorial. You already know what to do. She already knows what to do, because that's just what she's getting. The "will" to do what she already could, but was unwilling to do...
At least, that's what I pulled out of this.
Fun fact: The writing on the sword Ragnarok, which is written in Greek letters, seems to read "Heaven." I have not been able to decipher the spell circles though, they probably read some hilarious message or another. Or are just random Greek letters.
Congratulations to the highest ranked game on Kongregate! I have always loved the Epic Battle Fantasy series and can't believe that it's gotten this far. Congratulations!
Cool! :)
