Oh god... Finally finished NIGHTMARE MODE. Took me at least 40 tries to get a good start and good surrounding squares... Didn't go ahead with the endings until I claimed all but 3 squares in the corner (which gives enough time of 2 days for zombie hordes to KEEP spawning on me... no joke that was NOT fun)... Hordes of 800 zombies comes in each time; lucky they never broke through. By the time I researched zombism, the remaining 3 squares totalled 2000 zombies I was seriously like wtf. Had 153 survivors, with exactly 100 of them being soldiers. Since each soldier kills 3 zombies max per mission, I had to send all soldiers in on 7 missions to rid of all the zombies (holy crap right)
Ended with score of 777685... Took me at least 10 hours of trial and error to finish.

Oh finally cleared the harder mode... Going to challenge myself with nightmare mode right now... Tip to all: you MUST have a good starting map (as in, in the beginning have the vital buildings around you such as farms, suburbs, and trailer parks)... Don't bother continue playing if there's a whole bunch of "obsolete" buildings in the beginning (like gas stations, parks, graveyards). you NEED to have a good start to combat them mid-game. Also when you have a decent defense aim for science facilities (lol starcraft) asap... The researches help like a boss. Also, if you named yourself the leader, NEVER risk it. I learned that the hard way when I got owned in the crossfire during a fort battle FML
Wow since you get to rename your city and name the leader wouldn't be best to let us also to rename SURVIVORS? I know our friends wouldn't want to be in a zombie apocalypse but I find it really hard to keep track of all the survivors with weird names
