There are some great physics games that involve interacting with the environment to reach the goal. Games like Wake Up the Box are truly creative, enjoyable and puzzling. This game is none of those things. It tries to create cheap challenge by having timing for cannon fires, and easy-to-solve orders in which to remove blocks. These aspects are neither challenging nor fun. 1/5. A surprising disappointment from longanimals.
I'd like to see this game get achievements, as it is a great example of a well done platformer action type game. Overall, though, certain aspects could be changed. For example, perhaps the ability to turn off certain upgrades before the level starts (This would be very helpful for the 6s death ach.) Also, it seems that if you jump when you are at the bottom of the screen, you are often robbed of your double jump. Not sure if anyone else experienced this. Anyway, 5/5 otherwise.
ramer93, I think a metaphor that makes more sense in the context would be that if you let someone too close, you are always going to get hurt. Which is generally true.
Brennan1214. If you could continue to get experience from the same levels, the difficulty in this game would entirely vanish. That would make the game terrible. Also, when typing sentences in English you don't capitalize the first letter of every word. I really hope English is not your first language, because thats sad if it is.
Despicable attempt to cash in on the mario series. Whats worse is its awful gameplay, lag, bugs, and poor design in general. Whats even worse is that little prompt to go to more games in the corner and after each level as the score rolls down. This is absolute crap. 1/5 and flagged.
Definitely a great game, but in some cases the difficulty can be cheaply obtained. Dying because you are not aware what is in front of you during a long jump typically forces you to die, unless you get lucky. 4/5
One thing: Elemental plains of scarcity is called a roadrunner map, but once you get into it, its actually a drainage map. :P Donno if that was intentional or not.
First of all, the name of the game is inaccurate. Its stated specifically that the gun has difficulty seeing as far as pluto, thus it is a galactic sniping gun: not universal at all. Also, the game is portrayed in almost entirely broken English. If English is your second language, you may want to get an English speaker to edit your game. As a positive note, the hit-boxes were fairly well done. Beyond that, however, the mission briefings were a little vague at times, and some of the gameplay was repetitive. Although, the effort to change up the whole sniping game style as done on Pluto and in the final mission was quite interesting. 3/5.
*Ring *Ring "HEY I KNOW YOU'RE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THIS PIECE OF CRAP GAME, BUT I WANNA STOP YOU FOR A SECOND AND IN NO WAY PROGRESS THE STORY OR EXPLAIN ANYTHING THAT'S HAPPENING IN GAME!"
1/5
Truly a difficult game. Through this, the game has an obviously high skill cap. In other words this is hard for the right reasons, unlike many platformers of today. 5/5. This has a great concept, feel, and gives you that little terrifying realization after level 50 that you've unlocked hard mode.
As a platformer/puzzle this game isn't really anything special. As for the story, many people seem to consider it original and deep. In reality, it isn't. Its just an old rehash of the portal storyline that we've all seen a million times before. This is nothing original, challenging or interesting. 2/5 for the game. The music was at least what kept it from a 1/5 IMO.
The reason people are annoyed by MMOs getting badges lies in the fact that badges only come every few days. Generally people who spend time on this site do so because of the concept of achievements, which are not so predominant on other flash game websites. In this way, they play games they may not enjoy simply for the metagame concept of achievements. Thus, obviously it is extremely annoying when something that is not a challenge but nothing more than time consuming, a poor quality of all MMOs, arrives with badges. Essentially, its a waste of time for people who would rather enjoy a challenge for their weekly set of badges rather than spend time grinding and doing the same old tired crap they did in sacred seasons and dream world.
You know a game is bad when its an MMO and a sequel. Typically expanding on an MMO means updating the original. But in this case when a game is this boring and non-intuitive the only answer is to try to trick people into playing all over again by releasing as a whole new standalone game. Garbage. 1/5
