Every game in this series is great but this is one of the best I've seen in a while. Of course every answer given leads to more questions! Can't wait for the next episode.
I've been hoping for a long time to hear more about Dregg's true identity but the ending of this one was a bit confusing. Is Dregg talking to himself? Is it a teaser leading up to a big revelation in the next game? Anyway, another great installment!
This could be a great game if it was just a normal game, but it's ruined by the obvious cash-grab game mechanics like giving the player totally inadequate storage space, only being able to build one building at a time (slowly) and having to wait to open chests (with limited slots too).
The technical upgrade is a nice surprise but TBH the writing was not nearly as good as I have come to expect from VasantJ. One of the best things about the MC games is that the characters are never one-dimensional but Rockwell and his goons totally are. Also we're told who the culprit is right away so there's no actual detective work done by the player. Hopefully this is a just a test run for a much more intricate Chapter 1.
The side stories were good too but it's great to finally get back to focusing on Dregg and learn how he became the guy everyone loves to hate. Can't wait to see what gets revealed in Part 2!
SPOILER: The daughter can't have drawn the pictures on the fridge because one of them happened after her death, plus she's too old. The son can't have drawn them because he's just a baby. So who drew them?
@tacotime678: I've checked the shop more than 20 times and no sugar seeds, I also talked to the Farmer many times but he only gave me some cotton seeds which I already have. Is there any way to expand the farm to get more than 4 slots? Maybe I need to do that.
I've done almost everything on the first island but I still can't get sugar cane seeds to produce my own sugar. I know I did this when I played through the game on Kong because I had tons of candy apples when I sailed to the second island. How do I get those seeds?
