Twenty seconds into the game and it has already ran out of ideas. Fallen trees blocking the path on the airstrip AND the dark jungle path? ORIGINALITY FAIL.
Why was the end of the story just a slideshow? I mean, this had practically zero interaction in it anyway, why totally lame out at the end? Great art style and sound, but terrible game design and some shoddy writing in the story text.
Incredibily difficult to control. Just like being wasted in real life! Been attempting to get past the car for an hour with no luck. I think the difficulty ought to be dropped by a big chunk to allow people to enjoy more than the very first portion of the game.
Nice homebrew homage to the classic Elite. Needs sound, more variation in the mission content and more of an RPG element in how you upgrade (IE offer the player different path options for developing their ship). David Braben would be proud (or possibly sue).
Nice stylistic recreation of Zelda: Link To The Past but with none of the charm and magic that Zelda had. Instead the game mechanic is less about wonderous exploration and more about mindless XP grinding. 3/5
Pulling switches to open doors offscreen with zero feedback as to where those doors might be is a terrible puzzle mechanic. This game looks nice but plays like a stinky turd.
One of the dullest point and click by numbers games ever. The only vaguely original thing about this is the hand-drawn pen & ink art style. Reading the walkthru is more entertaining than playing the actual game.
I really wanted to\ like this, as the art style is very nice and the setting of the game appeals to me, but this is unplayable. What extremely limited interaction there is between player and game is clunky and unintuitive. Horrible game. Would have been redeemed by being a Flash video instead with zero 'game' elements.
